I had a good v-day but didn't celebrate it in that we didn't get each other cards or anything gay like that. We just had a fun time otgether. You should have fun times like this every day, instead of doing it just because of v-day, which is just really a scam for card and gift companies to gain more money than they deserve

True, but if everyone around you is being extra lovey dovey and all that it can be a bit of a downer if you're alone or your girlfriend is in France (*grumbles*), so it's nice to spend it with a couple of awesome friends who can make you smile instead of sitting at home moping.

Besides, any excuse to do something nice for your partner in crime is a good excuse, I just don't think doing cheesy cliche things is the way to go about it, etc. etc.
