Anyway, I got my degree grade today. Got a 2.1. I should be pleased, I am pleased, but I'm still disappointed.

My brain isn't that big. I think I'm lucky more than anything. I know that I could have got a first if my attention span wasn't curbed.

Willow, I do geography, weird human geography at that. So really, it's not what you probably think of when someone says geography.

Nah, I can't write or anything. I'm book-smart (sort of), but nothing else.

Plenty of routes back into education, though. Foundation courses, access courses, Open University, etc.

i'm not sure how smart I am. I just have random facts in my head.
I can't fix a car or become a doctor or anything useful. but I can tell you carrots used to be white until they were bread to be orange in the 14th century to honour a king in the Netherlands (it was his favourite colour)

I thought they were purple? Although white seems to make more sense.

I can't fix a car, I can't cook, I can't write, do much arty, etc. I'm good at social geography with weird theory mixed in. That's about it.

actually with the purple thing:
If you leave peppers growing on the plant they'll be green, to yellow to red and then they turn purple and that's the sweetest and tastiest.
but you can't buy then anywhere because people associate the colour with food thats gone bad.

Pub quizzes can net you a fair amount of money. The last one at the union was giving away about £800 in prize money.

Adam, I did not know that. I don't really associate purple with bad food, but then if I saw a purple pepper I may think twice. I like the red ones.
