And no, I do not take any offense to being called a nerd. Refraction is when light rays get bent from passing through a substance that slows down light rays. Like when a ray of light passes through a glass of water or a camera lens. Light rays of diffrent wavelengths or colors bend to different degrees, creating a rainbow, or in photographic terms, chromatic aberration. The more you know, right?
