I think that you are brave having regular blood tests Beckie I know that I couldn't put up with that. It's bad enough having a depot once every three weeks.

I actually like giving blood! Though I can't actually give blood because of the meds I'm on but I like blood tests. Last time they took it from the back of my hand because they couldn't find a vein which I thought was pretty cool

Then again I am afraid of needles. I am generally better than I used to be since having the depot because I am used to the sharp scratch. I can't look though and during blood tests I have to lie down but I didn't flinch when I went for a blood test earlier on this year. Though the nurse who was supposed to distract me was completely useless.

You get used to it. I had to do life drawing at art school, so I've been doing it for many years. This group I go to is untutored, so you just turn up and do your own thing.
