The surgeon has just scared me half to death.

They just have to cover themselves with the absolute worst case scenarios. If they thought that the operation was not in your best interests they wouldn't have suggested it and they wouldn't do it. The odds of this helping you will be in your favour.

I'm just waiting for her to come out of surgery.

The surgeon said it was a serious injury but hopefully all goes well and she won't need further treatment

Hey guys I'm at home attached to a little machine. No idea how I'm going to cope.

They cut the dead skin out and have a view to skin graft on Tuesday. They just need tissue to regrow over the tendons hence the machine.

I'm a bit gutted they couldn't do it all in one go. I feel very alone and down now jodiekins has left.

Company left. Mentally I'm ok but physically I can't look after myself properly. I made a plan with my mum to contact my cpn tomorrow. My dad is coming for the weekend but can't stay long term. I don't believe I'm in this pickle. I feel so helpless.

I'm at my mums and feeling rather ignored by her. My friends came to visit though which was nice.

I'm nervous about the second operation. If I need it if I need wait what then? And there won't be anyone there to look after me afterwards again.

I'm worried about the cassel. That they will say I've missed too much treatment to go back.

Maybe the second operation could be done in London so you can go back immediately?
