Who is Irene? Sorry, I feel so new here, haha. I don't know practically anyone's names... :-S *apologetic*

I usually wear comfy clothes - sweats, tshirts, and the like - that sometimes people get aghast if I come to uni "dressed up" (jeans and a namebrand hoodie... lol). Or if I wear "girl clothes" - i.e., tight ones that show my figure. I would prefer NOT to show my figure and my husband has noticed this, doesn't really mind but likes it when I show some self confidence and wear some tighter stuff. Nothing that I wouldn't let a 12-year-old wear, style-wise (i.e., not raunchy or low-cut, as that makes me EXTREMELY uncomfortable)... but anyway. I am rambling.

I wish that I had computer access when I am in hospital. But no, I don't... Hopefully I won't be going back anytime soon, but barely avoided it this past semester. I even warned all my professors at uni that I might have to go into the hospital - VERY severe suicidal ideation. However, I got through it by reaching out. That was probably the first really positive thing that's happened to me in quite awhile. :)

Well, bedtime for me... gonna read in bed for awhile with my husband, then sleepytime it is. I miss the days when we had tea before bed, but that was when we were engaged and he was spending the night at my parents' house on weekends. Years ago. Oh well.

G'night all. *squishy hugs all around*

hello Kim, katie, Irene. Hope you all are doing ok?
Is your shoulder any better Katie?
Do you know why you are tense, I rene?
I read something last night, not sure how truew it is, or anything really...but sure you can find online; that the Vitamin(? mineral?) L-Lysine is meant to be good for skin...not sure what it is exactly...
Welcome, April.
I can understand the weight issue/self-esteem. I'm trying to stick to exercise, etc.
Never weighed this much, which I guess I haveto admit isn't much...but it is to me.
But, I'm more interested in just getting clothes 'comfy', any clothes. Gonna stay away from the scale this time. I just seem to have lost all/any willpower.
It's always, "tomorrow.." lol.

Erm...maybe scratch that, Irene. :\
I've got a book of 'natural medicine' and it say Lysine (not L-lysine...not sure if the same..or a derivative..) is wonderful for herpes.
See if it says anything else...you can look by symptom/issue...

Ok, it lists the effectiveness and safety of each...
sooo...'tea tree oil'(topical) (effect. B, Safety. A)
Zinc (effect. B, Safety A)

G'nite, April. Hope you sleep well :)
That is awful ,Kim, when meds you need make you gain weight.
For the psych. meds it always amazes me that docs (most. not all) do NOT seem to grasp the simple fact that massive weight gain from a med can be unhelpful.
Least my new one is very good, he seems to get it, for a lot of things actually.
Hmm..was meant to see him, to get one refil...but I didn't. Too damn cold for standing around waiting for buses that tend to run whenever they like. My cough is back..deep in my chest..it just won't go away!!
Im all screwed up today...stayed up till 10 this morning, slept till 3 pm...never sleep tonight i guess.
Too bad, it was all nice and normal for quite awhile.
Oh well...got plenty of good books ;)

They ARE very good. Have re-read them whilst waiting for the next one to come out, etc.
They are...well...excellent.
Till he did that.
Two characters from the book arrive at his house...go figure...
It was just...stupid.
And arrogant.
His books all have overlaps, be it location or characters, which is fine in a way, because they are all mostly set in Castle Rock, etc. So yes, overlap of characters (or their parents/kids) made sense...
This last...did not.
:\
Need to get some new books...but H will flip, lol.

Tbh, I didn't have one to begin with tonight, so that's all good.
Now have to find something else to cook. >.<
Hate cooking when I'm not hungry, lol.
But just for H. tho he will gladly make his own..but I don't mind doing it..he is sooo tired when he finally gets home., daughter is at friend's. finishing off her Winter Formal dress.
Can't wait to see it...
She is really excited, which is a bit odd, considering it involves having to wear a dress and all.
Not much of a 'girly girl'.

It's rather 'simple', but it suits her well.
Top like a t-top, thin straps over the shoulder, a bit of an 'empire waist' (suits her better) and a loose, flowing skirt/bottom.
She picked a gorgeous, dark purple material; looks almost black till in the light.
Her friend is making it for her, but has run into a snag, with her own dress as well, so they are at her grandma's house as she is a tailor.
Can't wait to see it!
We got her new shoes on the weekend as well.
Really cant wait till her Grad (hmm..sort of lol), to find her a dress.
She really likes one I have (ha, the only 'fancy' one i own) but not sure it will fit her...
