not really, which i think is why i've been letting it get me down more than i should
you see my best friend's going through a lot recently, and everybody is rightly concerned with that. i'd be the most selfish person in the world to trouble them with a lot of nothing
but it's okay, i can handle it if i keep to my (healthy) coping mechanisms
exercise and writing (Y)

Alright then. I had a gawk at your thread. I really can see why youre concerned. Im sorry I dont have much more to add than what the other two have said! Its lovely to see how much you care for your friend but as youve said, you should try not let it get you down too much. You arent selfish at all. Everybody has problems and they deserve help if they need it. No matter how small the problem.
Yay theyre good healthy coping mechanisms to have. As long as your staying safe love!

sooo i sign off and 3 minutes later everyone shows up.

and now I'm leaving shortly, going to a show with my friend and her mom...her mom's really nosy though and will prolly ask all about my hospitalization and I'll get pissed, annoyed, upset, and triggered.

try not to let it get to you. try to enjoy going out to a show with your friend. i know easier said than done but you deserve to have a break and have some time to just relax and forget about your troubles. it is a few hours since you posted so i hope everything went well.
