Sounds fun to me Linda.
I must admit i am partly motivated by an admiration of stephen fry, but thats surely not one of the worst reasons to see a film?
A bookbinder and his daughter, they go to live with hs aunt (?) and his daughter, Meggie finds out that her father is special, when he reads a book he can literally read a character out from the pages, but something must go into the book to replace it.
And its a sort f adventure based around that from what i rememeber.
I read it :D
I watched Zach and Miri the other night...I was a bit disappointed by it :/ I thought it'd be funnier.
Then last night I watched Burn After Reading, it was a really good mix of like suspense and comedy. Id be laughing one minute and then gasp in shock the other.
Those were the first movies Ive sat down to watch in awhile though, I wasnt in the mind frame to watch a movie for monthss.
My dad actually managed to find The Theif Lord for me :D
Im somewhat pleased by this, plus they barely cut/messed with anything
Ace film
Also an Ace book
I just watched An Inconvenient Truth on the Science Channel. You know, I'd never seen it before, but it really opened my eyes and informed me about what is a very real problem in the world right now. If none of you have seen it, watch it NOW, lol.
Ive been meaning to see that. Stephen King did a blurb on it about how it was like a return to good horror.
I started watching Talk to Her last night by Almodovar...I had to shut it off though after the matador scene. Apparently it wasnt a faked fight :\ and my dear little heart couldnt get over it.
But I just bought Kirikou and the Sorceress online, cant wait for it to get here :D
