The problem with dubbed is that they don't stick to the original script and are quite often very patronising, especially if 4kids did the dubbing >.<
4Kids just rape everything they touch. Funimation. that's where the best dubs come from.

the only thing they got close to right was Pokemon. but that was a childrens show from the start.
they rape all these shows intended for teens and up by trying to fit them with kids gloves.

I never really quite got the appeal of anime. One of you might have to educate me at some point, seeing as I have a huge void in my life now that Lost is over *cue violins playing in the background*
The only time you will find real light is when you're searching in the dark..
I remember doing quite a long rant about 500 pages back about how horrible 4Kids was at dubbing.
I was watching the Funimation dub of One Piece at the time. Before I moved onto DragonBall.

We can start you off with something gentle. maybe a Naruto or a Yu-gi-oh. One Piece perhaps, I think you'd like that.
Do you like dubbed or subbed movies? That'll indicate which type of anime we should start with. Dub or sub.

Anime is definitely something you either love or hate. What kind of genres do you go for, when choosing a TV programme?
I like anime because the storylines tend to be very original and interesting. I also love how they draw their people =]
