I'm reading "Poppy Shakespeare" by Clare Allan - It's very dark comedy fiction based on her experiences in a mental health day centre. I guess some people might find it offensive, but me.... I haven't had such a good laugh at myself (and my experiences in day centres) in such a long time. Very risky use of language, which I love - It's described as "One flew over the cuckoo's nest meets catch 22" - but I find it superior to both. It's very satirical and raises lots of questions about "mental illness"

I also loved the televised version of this book, which was shown as a drama on channel 4 - the book however is far superior.

I just started reading The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong last night.
It's an easy-to-read book and is pretty good too upto now.

You made up your mind to torture mine!
If you read a scar like a book, you will relise the story in which you over look
red ribbons were weaving
upon the young girls skin.
a trail of red weaved deep,
caused by pain from within

Just finished Wuthering Heights by by Emily Bronte. It's a beautiful story in a sad way. Struck me as odd that Cathrine manages to have a baby with no mention of her ever being pregnant, the child just appears out of nowhere.

I am in the process of reading "The Shack" WM. Paul Young, it's really well written, I am almost finished with it. If you are a Christian it will definitely stir things up.

Just finished
'The Gift' - Cecelia Ahern
'The Lovely Bones' - Alice Sebold
'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas' - John Boyne

All of them were really good, I'm reading epic amounts thanks to summer. I'm now working my way through 'The Book Thief' which is fantastic so far.

For those lives that tear at the seams

Right in front of the other
