Chapter 256 Gerard went downstairs and into the kitchen, grabbing the cordless phone on the way there. He pulled out of the wooden chairs from the table in the center of the room, sitting down and dialing his friends number. "Hello?" "Matt, its me Gerard" "Hey what’s up?" "I have a few questions who this whole vampire deal" sighed Gerard rubbing his forehead with his free hand.
"fire away" replied Matt
"Franks sick, he was out on the roof in the storm last night, long story why but hes sick and well…how the **** do I get him to a doctor?" "Damn, Erm….see how he is in a day or two, might be one of those 24 or 48 hour bugs" "Yeah maybe" "How’s Jaidon?" "Hes doing good –" Gerard sentence was interrupted by the doorbell ringing. "Matt, I gotta go someone’s at the door, I’ll phone you back later"
"Alright, in a bit" "Bye"
Gerard ended the call and placed the phone on the table and got up, wandering down the hall to the front door and opening it.
"Bill.. Tom, what the hell are you doing here?" said Gerard frowning
"Gerard, here us out please?" asked Tom
"You have two minutes" growled Gerard, trying to hide his anger towards the twins.
"Look we’re sorry okay—" Bill sentence was interrupted by Gerard cutting in.
"Stop with that okay, you said sorry last time and look what you did, how the **** am I meant to believe you this time?"
"Gerard listen, we’ve had some sense knocked into us and we’re ****ing sorry dude" said Bill with an apologetic expression.
"Yeah we’re even more sorry we took it out on Frank, we understand it’ll take a while for you to trust us and we completely understand, but ****, we’re sorry and we just want to be friends" said Tom
Gerard sighed and rubbed his forehead for the second time in a few minutes. "I don’t know"
"Gerard please, we’re ****ing sorry man" said Tom trying to hide his impatience earning a glare from Bill and twin telepathy telling him to be quiet.
"Fine" sighed Gerard "Fine, we’re cool, but if you ever say any **** like that again I’ll ****ing hurt you so ****ing bad"
"Thank you" said Bill with a small smile.
"Can we apologize to Frank?" asked Tom.
"No, he’s ill, but I’ll pass the message on when he wakes"
The twins nodded "Okay, we’ll we better be going"
Gerard send a small nod at the twins "Alright, see you later"
"Bye" said the brothers and headed back down the path as Gerard shut the door and headed up stairs to his sleeping fiancée.

Chapter 257
Frank turned over the next morning and instantly regretted telling Gerard he felt better. He’d only said it to stop Gerard fussing over him. It was nice at first but it had rapidly become annoying with Gerard waking him up every five minutes just to see how he was feeling. Frank groaned as he heard the desperate cries from the next room and was hit by another wave of regret for the fact that neither of them had anything to do with their mothers now. He got up and steadied himself as the room spun before him. He waited for a few moments before making his way slowly to his son’s rooms, figuring it would be best if Jaidon waited a few minutes, rather than rushing to see to him and dropping him or something because of how dizzy he felt.
He sat in the chair and held his son close to him as he fed. It was only after Jaidon had finished that Frank realised it might not have been a good idea with him being ill. He sighed, feeling more stupid than ever for telling Gerard to go to work. He set the small baby back in the cot before wandering back into his and Gerard’s room and picking the phone up. He dialled the number, hoping Gerard wouldn’t get into too much trouble and it rang a few times before he answered,
“Gee, it’s me.”
“Frankie, what’s up? You feeling okay?”
“Not really, I’m sorry Gee, I shouldn’t have told you to go to work.”
“It’s okay, d’you want me to come home?”
“Only, if it won’t get you into too much trouble.”
“You’re more important Frankie. Hold on a sec.”
Frank heard muffled voices on the end of the line, indicating Gerard had covered the mouth-piece in an effort to prevent Frank from hearing. A few seconds later Gerard’s voice was back,
“Frankie, I’ll be home in fifteen minutes okay?”
“Okay Gee, I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay, I love you Frankie.”
“I love you too.”
Frank put the phone back down and hurried to the bathroom with another overwhelming urge to be sick. After spending a good five minutes bent over the toilet, he finally managed to pull himself up. He turned and caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror, making him stop. He took in his reflection and realised how ill he actually looked. The dark circles under his eyes and his overly pale complexion gave it away almost instantly but there was something else, something he couldn’t quite place. He turned and frowned, still unable to see what he was looking for. His thoughts were interrupted when he heard the doorbell ring and he made his way slowly to the stairs before looking down. He felt another dizzy spell come over him and instinctively grabbed the handrail as he made his way cautiously downstairs, wondering who the hell would be calling round. He got to the bottom and noticed Gerard’s keys on the floor. Smiling to himself at the thought of Gerard panicking over losing his keys, he wandered over to the door and unlocked it. He looked up, expecting to be greeted by the hazel eyes of his fiancée but instead, he was faced with two very uncomfortable-looking people. Frank swallowed nervously before struggling to get his words out,
