Chapter 37 Back at the Way household was lying on his bed, a bottle of that clear liquid in his hand.
How could he have left the package just lying around, he knew he should of hidden it better. Well in his defense he didn’t know his brother was gonna come down to get some eyeliner. Eyeliner of all things!
He took a swing from the bottle, he face screwed up as the liquid burnt his throat.
Why did he even have that package? Why did he take it from that idiot he met at the bar? Urgh he was such an idiot. He wasn’t even going to use it. He was going to throw it away, he honestly was. He just never got round to it.
And now because of that he had probably lost the closet friends to him aswell as him brother, and by now it probably had gotten around the whole school.
He took another swig from the bottle, this time he didn’t care about the burning sensation. He got up and made his way upstairs into the kitchen and over to the bin in the corner. He looked down and saw the package with the white substance inside. Quietly he leant down and picked it up and stared at it, contemplating wether to throw it back in the bin.
No, instead he clutched it in his hand and took It down to his bedroom.
Half an hour later, Gerard was lying on his bed, the empty bottle lying on the floor and the now empty package lying next to it.
He felt his stomach rumble, he was hungry, he hadnt eaten in a quiet a while.
Gerard got up and went outside and headed towards the cemetary. Once there he sat on a tombstone and waited for someone to walk by. Just as he did he saw a small girl, she looked around 16. Normally he wouldn’t target someone so young, usually they were male too. But the substances in his system and his need for food made him forget all that as he snook up behind the girl as she walked through the grave stones.
He grabbed her and before she had a chance to scream he sunk the fangs in and sighed as he felt the warm liquid enter his body and the hunger dying. As he finished he lay the girl in a few bushes, she wouldn’t be found for a few days.
As he walked back home, stasified with his feed, he remembered Frank. He shouldn’t of been like that with him. Frank only loved him, he shouldn’t of stormed off, but the anger had gone the better of him.
He felt warm liquid leak from his eyes and he let them flow. He slid down a wall in a allyway and sat on the cold hard floor and cried.
He had truly ****ed things up.

Chapter 38
Mikey sat back on the sofa and sighed. There was silence around the room. They were all at Rays house discussing Gerard new problem and Ray, Bob and Pembe were just as shocked as everyone else had been but no one had any idea what to do. Confronting him didn’t work. He just reacted angrily. They couldn’t talk to Frank about it either. Frank had enough going on without having to worry about what Gerard was doing. “He’s gotta know sooner or later.” Ray had been the first one to speak. He hadn’t wanted to but the silence had been just plain awkward and they weren’t getting anywhere. Bob looked at the group. No one else seemed eager to say anything. “I agree with Ray. Maybe Frank can get through to him. He’s the only person Gee seems to spend any time with at the moment anyway.” “Well they are together he’s gonna spend more time with Frank than with us now.” Said Pembe. She wasn’t normally one to speak up, she was normally the quiet one in these situations. “No Mikey and Bill haven’t ditched us have they? We still spend time together we still do things together. Gerards changed since this whole thing with Frank started” “How can you say that. It’s not Franks fault he only just moved here. Gee’s always had a bit of an anger issue.” Mikey glared at Ray. He knew it wasn’t entirely true. Gerard hadn’t always had an anger problem and he’d never spoken to Mikey the way he had been recently, but Mikey still felt the need to stand up for his brother even though he disgusted him right now. “Fighting amongst ourselves isn’t gonna solve anything” Said Bill. Mikey sighed. “You’re right. I’m sorry Ray we can’t blame it on Frank though. That stuff could have come from anywhere.” Everyone fell silent again. They still weren’t getting anywhere. Everything was weird. Gerard and his drugs, Frank being ill. It looked like there should be an obvious answer but there wasn’t. Mikey got up, I’m gonna go back home. I don’t think Gerard’ll be around somehow. You guys coming?” The rest of the group nodded and got up apart from Ray and Pembe. “Nah I think I’m gonna stay here.” Said Ray “I’m staying too then!!” Grinned Pembe. “Kay, see you all later then.” The group headed out and made they way back to Mikeys.
Ray and Pembe looked at each other, another awkward silence, but it wasn’t uncomfortable really, they both knew what they wanted to say but neither of them knew how to say it. “Wanna watch a movie or something?” Asked Ray rubbing the back of his neck. He only did that when he was nervous about something. They spent a good while looking through Rays movies and finally settled on Saw 2. They hadn’t seen it in a while with the other two out but it was still a good one. Ray put it in the DVD player and they settled down on the sofa together. Ray watched the screen but he wasn’t paying any attention. He looked over at Pembe. She was completely lost in the movie, he smiled she looked adorable the way she flinched or hide her eyes everytime a scary part came on. Ray turned his attention to the screen and slowly started to edge closer to her. She hid her face again as another scary part came up and Ray took his chance. He slid his arm round her. “ARGH!!!” Pembe jumped “Oh my god Ray you scared me!!” Ray chuckled slightly and then they both went quiet. Neither of them were looking at the screen anymore, they were looking at each other. Ray reached out and gently caressed the side of her face. The next thing they both knew, they were coming closer and closer together and their lips met, softly at first but the kiss became more and more desperate. As they both broke away for air, Ray looked at Pembe. “You don’t know how long I’ve been wanting to do that” Pembe smiled “I think I do, I’ve liked you for ages. I was just too scared to say. I didn’t think you liked me back.” “Pembe, I don’t like you back, it’s more than that. I think I love you.” Pembe stared at Ray in shock but before she had chance to say anything, he kissed her again.
