I'll probably start with FMA then. Honestly, 906 episodes is a bit crazy. I'll probably get to it some day or another, but not anytime soon. I'm used to just sitting down and watching an entire anime in a couple of days. 24 episodes, 2 days. Even 100 episodes would be excessive to me, lol. I'll get to it eventually, though. I'll probably start with Bleach when I do.
For now, I still haven't even finished the second season of Jormungand. I might do that tonight or tomorrow. Then I'll probably start FMA. Actually, I may re watch a bunch of stuff first. I haven't done that in awhile, and there's a lot of stuff I want to see again.
Also, I hadn't heard of the swimming anime yet. I guess I don't keep up with all the news and stuff. I might start watching that. Sometimes watching things weekly makes them more interesting.
I am always trying to keep up with my anime shows but there are a lot of animes I like that are on going at the moment. Hmm one of the more recent ones I have started watching is Attack on Titan (I love it and have started reading the manga and even managed to convince my brother to watch it and read the manga now he likes it as well, we rarely agree on animes/mangas since he prefers the more umm disturbing stuff like beserk).
Oh and I also did just watch Millennium Actress and I though it was quite moving and kept me interested, it's a great movie.

I can pretend that lives last longer than moments. Gods come, and gods go. Mortals flicker and flash and fade. Worlds don't last; and stars and galaxies are transient, fleeting things that twinkle like fireflies and vanish into cold and dust. But I can pretend...”

Attack on Titan seems interesting, a lot of people like it! My tumblr dashboard is full of it lol. I want to start watching it as well, but I guess after I finish watching Soul Eater. :)
I haven't heard of Millennium Actress, though the title sounds interesting, maybe I'll give that a go as well.:)
If you liked Millennium actress then watch Tokyo godfathers. Infact just go ahead and watch everything that Satoshi Kon directed It's all good.
lol yeah I have seen that and liked it as well, I will definitely check out his other works.
I just randomly stumbled upon Tokyo godfathers last year and with Millennium actress I just happened to see an amv of it and it looked interesting. I have no idea why I haven't heard more about these movies since they are wonderful.
& yeah attack on titan is definitely worth the watch, it was so much different than I expected and I was pleasantly surprised by it. I really like that it isn't just another bleach or naruto (I am definitely not a fan of bleach and I have a love/hate relationship with naruto). The manga is still on going so I am not sure if the anime will be a long one or end up getting cut short because of the manga not being far enough ahead. I will warn you though they don't hold back on all the death (people start dying left and right after the first two or three episodes.) It is pretty fast paced and is full of action and twists that I never see coming. Plus luckily for me they don't hold out on the gore.

I think Paprika was Satoshi Kon's (the bloke who directed millennium and tokyo) last film before he sadly died from cancer. I haven't seen it yet I just got round to downloading it and will watch it later in the week but I understand he had written another film but not had time to finish it.
I have heard of that one but haven't gotten around to watching it yet since at the moment I am playing catch up with animes and mangas. I will check it out though. Man that sucks that he died I really do love his movies and the style of them. Also I really loved how different Millennium actress was compared to other movies I have seen, it had a unique way of storytelling to it that I really enjoyed.

*Not really in with the discussion here but popping in to update anyway as the Summer animes start*
I just watched the first episode of Watamote today, which was released yesterday.
(full name: watashi ga motenai no wa dou kangaetemo omaera ga warui! Wow.)
I love it so much! I wanted to hug the girl so hard because I could really relate a lot to how she felt. It's a comedy but it quite a bit deeper than that - I'd go so far as to say psychological/comedy.
I've also been thinking of watching Attack on Titan. I'm addicted to the opening and I can't get over this video:

Oh god trying to watch all the new anime while keeping up with older ongoing ones is a pain so the newer ones other than attack on titan are on the backburner.
I did recently start watching Suisei No Gargantia and I like it.

I got to sit down tonight and watch the second episode of Free! Iwatobi Swim Club. It was brilliant. The plot is really starting to come together now that we've been introduced to the main characters, and it seems to have a really good balance between seriousness and comedy. I never knew swimming could be so intense, but I was completely drawn in when two of the characters were racing!

Just watched the latest episode of Free! Fanservice, glorious fanservice everywhere haha. It was hilarious, I was literally crying with laughter at one point.

So FMA is quite amazing. Also, I don't know how much I'll enjoy the fanservice (being a guy and all), but I may give the anime a shot. If it's funny, I'll probably like it.
I'm really running out of anime to watch all of a sudden. I can't find many other interesting ones. I've got a list, but I can't decide what to watch on it. I may just have to pick one at random. I'll say something when I've picked something to watch. In the mean time I may check out Free!
I'm not going to lie, I don't know any males who are watching Free! haha It is definitely aimed at the female audience so something tells me you may not enjoy it as much as others xD but by all means give it a shot.

Well, I just watched the first four episodes. The story seems great, but the fanservice is a bit much, lol. Well, if it's only once a week, I can handle the fanservice. It works well as a filler while I find something else to watch in the mean time. As long as the plot is still good from episode to episode, it should be enjoyable. I think I'm going to go through my list tomorrow or the day after and just watch the first episode of a bunch of different shows. Then I guess I'll watch the most interesting ones in order. Honestly, I'll probably just end up watching the first one I choose all the way through. Oh well, that would work too.
So Film4 have been having a Studio Ghibli season, showing a different movie each day. I watched The Cat Returns this morning, I think that might be my new favourite Ghibli film, I loved it!
Also I just finished episode 5 of Free! I have seen a lot of people on tumblr and elsewhere on the internet bash this series for being all fanservice and having no plot, I think this episode has effectively proved them all completely wrong. They ended it on what is quite possibly the worst cliffhanger I have ever seen as well, and I just know this next week will drag on forever until I can find out what happens.

Wow, no kidding. They also did less fanservice this episode anyways. I think as it goes on, it's definitely going to get more into the actual plot. And the plot seems good. Also that's some crazy cliffhanger. Now I'm kind of excited for next week.
Oh, and I haven't seen many anime movies, really. I may start watching them pretty soon. There are a bunch I want to watch, but just never got around to it. I'll have to add that one to the list.
So unfortunately I have moved to rural Canada for a year and the internet isn't good enough to watch anime online, so I am effectively taking a year long hiatus from everything which is sad, especially as I don't get to see how Free! finishes. My friend is giving me episode recaps each week so I'm not left hanging for a year though, which is nice.
