Chapter 255
Gerard spent all morning and the best part of the afternoon looking after Jaidon and checking on Frank and by the time Jaidon was down for a nap, Gerard was exhausted. He wandered into his and Frank’s room and lay down next to him. Looking after a baby and a sick fiancée was a very tiring job. He turned and looked over at the pile of pillows which Frank was buried under.
“Frankie, you awake?”
Frank peered out from under the bottom pillow before moving them out of his way,
“Sorry Gee. I didn’t mean to stay in bed all day.”
“No it’s fine. You feeling any better?”
“A little. You look tired Gee, I’ll look after Jaidon now if you want.”
“No it’s ok, he’s sleeping anyway and you’re not going anywhere until you’re completely better.”
“What about work Gee? You’ll lose your job.”
“I’ll go back when you’re better and if I lose it because of being off to look after you, then it proves what I thought all along.”
“Which was?”
“That Chris is a dick.”
Frank giggled slightly before turning pale again and rushing to the bathroom. Gerard sighed slightly before running after him and rubbing his back gently until he’d finished. Frank coughed slightly before sitting back against the side of the bath, his eyes watering slightly and Gerard couldn’t tell if Frank was crying or if it was just from how much he’d been sick today,
“I hate being sick.” Whimpered Frank softly,
“I know baby.” Gerard reached out and pulled him into a cuddle,
“I thought this **** wasn’t supposed to happen when you changed me!”
Gerard laughed gently, “Most vampires don’t hang off roofs during storms.”
Frank laughed gently, trying to bury his face in Gerard’s neck but quickly changed his mind and turned back to the toilet. Gerard continued to stroke his back gently, trying to soothe him. When Frank had finished, Gerard helped him up and got him back to bed, stroking his hair gently,
“Gee, what’s wrong with me?”
“It’s probably just from the cold. I’ve gotten sick from staying out in the rain before, you’ll be okay in a day or two.”
“Promise?”
“I promise, and even if you’re not, we’ll get you to a doctor or something.”
Frank smiled and drifted off to sleep, leaving Gerard lying there awake worrying about him. How would he find a doctor to see Frank now he’d been changed? Gerard got up and wandered downstairs, wondering if Matt might know what to do.
Dooood I've seen them. I never thought that uniform could look hot but somehow, he manages it =P
