Is anyone else who hasn't finished their exams yet sick to the teeth of everyone else having finished? I'm sat in my room stressing over my exam tomorrow while ALL of my flatmates are going out to celebrate..
I know that in 2 days it will be over for me too, but while I'm feeling rubbish from all the stress, the last thing I really want is to have it rubbed into my face that I'm still working hard and stressing while everyone else can relax and have fun..

^^ I was the same. Most of my friends had finished their exams before I had even started. Just think that when you're finished you can say you deserve the break more.

Awww good luck to all of you whose exams haven't finished yet.

I've still got coursework to do till Friday and I'm running short of time again as usual, but it wasn't even my fault this time! All my plans have been messed up because of people not showing up to dates, shops being closed and awful weather. I'm getting ready for another three days without sleep, yay. -.-

Am waiting for my exam results and panicking that
a) I have failed my exams
b) I have failed my degree
c) I have passed but not done well enough to get on the doctorate course
d) I will never find a job (had an interview this morning - didn't get a callback for this afternoon)

Apparently I won't get my exam results till the end of July. I don't understand why I have to wait so long when I finished 3 weeks ago. I know they have a lot to do at this time of year but I'm sure the last two years I've had my results by the end of June.
The waiting and not-knowing is driving me mad.

I'm trying my very hardest not to think about how I've done. Now it's too late to change anything about it anyway.

I know I can't change it, but I hate not knowing! I can't believe it's taking them so long to get our marks back to us (there's an essay I handed in before Easter that I still don't have a mark back for). Really we need to start applying for jobs and they're going to want to know our grades. If you and another equal candidate apply for a job but they have their mark back and you don't, I'm guessing the employer would chose the one who already has a definite grade rather than someone who can only say what they're hoping/expecting to get.

I can't remember if I told you all my results or not, so I'll say again. I'm in my second last year and averaging a 2.1. Should've got better though, but it's as good as I could expect what with everything that was going on.

oh, that sucks! I am fidgety waiting for my results in, when I finished my last final on friday, and all of the grades by the professors are due by tuesday night. I already have the grades for 5 classes and labs posted online, but still have 3 left that are blank.. and I hate waiting. It must be so hard waiting till the end of july. that is weak of the school to be that slow. I hope you did well, and find a job soon. hang in there.

oh, and i go to school at California Polytechnic University Pomona, pretty far away from Edinburgh

Just a question about the results. What's the range like over there? So is it, 1 is the highest you can get? (coz sheesh good job!!). Over here it's 1-7, 7 being the highest and at the moment I'm 4.6 but I have a feeling it's going to go down after this semester

1st is 70% and above
2:1 is 60% ^
2:2 is 50% ^
3rd is 40% ^
Below 40 is a fail.

So a 2:1 is really good - well done Clare!

My uni is slightly different, but in general that's how it works. Here we use the 22-point scale and use A, B, Cs. I averaged a B2, which percentage wise is 72.7%. I need to get more than 80% for a first :(

I hate the way my birthday is after everything finishes at uni, it just means that everyone goes home and I have nobody around the place. Sucks.

Results day soon, here's to hoping that my lack of revision didn't screw me over.
