But in the Catherine Tate show she played no one that was like Donna. And Catherine Tate herself isn't like Donna either. You can't watch Doctor Who and think of her as Catherine Tate, you've got to think of her as Donna. The whole "I don't like the actor so I don't like the part s/he's playing" Thing is ridiculous. She's acting out what people are writing for her and I think she did an ace job all round, she was funny and serious and it all worked.
The Ood aren't in next weeks episode, they're in the one after that. Next week is set in Rome or Pompeii or something.

I don't fancy John Barrowman or Jack Harkness, but I still like the character. And they said they didn't like Jack Harkness, you're allowed to not like a character, but you were going on about how you don't like Catherine Tate and so are erasing her from the episode, but that's not Catherine Tate, that's Donna. And it's her second episode, give her a chance. Jack has been there since the new series started.
And no one's jumping on anyone. I was just saying it's pretty **** to judge a character based on the the actor who's playing them, and you should give her more of a chance, really.
