I think ward rounds went well. I've got escorted leave! I got overwhelmed by voices when the psych asked what I thought about the possibility of flying, separate from the voices. And I told the psych, with nurse C in the room, about his lying about Thursday which I now regret and want to apologise to C for.
I'm not sure exactly how much I'm getting, it hasn't been printed out yet. I think I will be safe, as even if I have urges to run my foot right now is too sore, and I have no idea where I am!
Yeah that's what people usually say to do isn't it? I hope the swelling goes down enough soon and the pain lessens and you can have some time off the ward with your family.

One of the HCAs has very kindly said she will shave my underarms for me because I'm not allowed a razor. I'm really tempted, partly because of voices, to try to grab the razor off her. That's why I'm not allowed razors, isn't it......

I'm not sure what will help you NOT grab the razor but think about escorted leave. You don't want to lose that, particularly after you've had to wait for your foot to heal.

If you grabbed the razor you could potentially hurt the HCA. Also I agree that you need to think about your leave and moving forward with things. Ultimately if you can't do this safely you should tell someone and just be a bit hairy.

Thank you for your input, it really helped. We successfully shaved my underarms without me trying to grab the razor :) head has been eerily and unexpectedly quiet so far today...
