The only monster gunter i've played was a demo of the first one, i've got a psp maybe i'll check out freedom unite.
There's a couple of monster hunter games on ps3 right?
I'm watching a Let's Play of the first three Crash Bandicoot games. I lost my copies of those games years ago and I really wish I hadn't... this LP is pure nostalgia. I spent so many hours playing them as a child, as did my sisters and my mother. Crash Bandicoot got my family through some trying times.
FFXII update: I just got all the way through the Great Crystal to Omega Mk. XII... I had (I thought) a fantastic strategy... it was working fine for a while there... but then I died. I was so close, too.
RIGHT, skipping it. I hate to do it, but my policy regarding Omega Weapons in any FF game is only to try it, and beat it if I can. I'm not going all the way through that god damn crystal maze again, far better to just admit defeat.

They are available to buy and download on the PSN, I'm sure.

I prefer owning physical copies of games (especially games that I really loved as a child, like the Crash series), but if I can't find them in any of the retro game shops around town, I'll look into that.
Anyway, I've decided to put off the Yiazmat battle for a few days. My best friend is coming over to my place at some point over the next few weeks, and I'm going to do the battle then (partly to mirror the time he 100%-completed Super Mario Galaxy when I stayed at his place, and partly because nobody likes to suffer alone).
In the meantime, I'm going to get started on a game I got over the summer and haven't found time to play yet: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. I've never really given the Zelda series a fair chance, but I got a load of Zelda games cheap over the summer. Time to see what all the fuss is about.

I'm the same, I just wouldn't want to pay massively over the odds for a PS1 game that has been heftily used. I recently loaned a friend my Spyro games, she is loving them.
First dungeon of Link's Awakening done in just under two hours. Really enjoying it so far... it's a shame I've let this series pass me by all these years. And it's nice to finally get some use out of my long-neglected Gameboy Color.

Actually theres one for the wii, don't know why the handhelds are for psp and the console is on wii, but yeah
Take me away, I just want out from this self-imprisoned self-made Hell. Don't be surprsed, this is your mind coming to life by self-sacrifice. This tragedy of death will walk hand in hand with every thought of regret. Blame yourself for what you've become. The mind is a powerful thing set to self-destruct.

want Skyrim. When tiff is back I am raiding her house.
I'm playing oblivion atm.
I luvs Oblivion - but I will wait for Skyrim. The reason are A) Bethesda always releases a crap load of "fixes" for its games so I won't buy early - B) the mod community will come up with great things given time c) I need walkthroughs lol

Are you playing on PC or console?

You would not need a walkthrough for Skyrim, it's an incredibly simple game. Lots of "go do this, loot, then go back". And I'd dispute that there is such a thing as a walkthrough for such a game. Anyway, there are already loads of let's plays online for it.
I agree about Bethesda though. They really shouldn't release games that are bugged and glitched to hell. There are quite a few game-breaking bugs in it as well.
Glad to hear Skyrim is tighter. I recall getting vampirism in Oblivion and having to go on some lengthy side quest. I was lost for awhile until I found a walkthrough with a cure that took 5 minutes lol

There is vampirism in Skyrim, but it is easily cured.
