That was the other thing, in the past all he had to do was put his hands on someones head and they could see into his mind and vice versa, so why the hell did he have to headbutt him? i get it was for a cheap laugh but it didnt make sence why he had to do that when in the past he used his hands.

I pointed out the 'why didn't he use John Smith' thing to my mum during the episode. It seemed more like a comedy to me than a proper dr who episode. But I did enjoy it. But next weeks (well the last two episodes) look like they could be fantastic!
I am liking the new cast just finding the stories aren't that amazing....
You made up your mind to torture mine!
If you read a scar like a book, you will relise the story in which you over look

well in the past he's been looking for info, this time he was passing it on.
Plus, he was in a hurry.

This episode was okay considering it was a filler and I can't stand James Corden. The whole 'normal life' thing, I agree, was interesting...
But I couldn't help but mutter "the 10th Doctor wouldn't have been good at football ¬_¬"
OH, and this really irritated me. Did anyone else notice how when he was in the shower his hair was soaked, and then running out into the hallway it was just very messy?
I never usually spot these things, I'm rather proud of myself :)

I really like the new doctor, I think he's making the series for me - he seems a lot more moral, challenging and sneaky. The special effects aren't as good, but I prefer the scriptwriting - it seems less cheesy and cringeworthy (ignoring the end of last night's episode).

Maybe she won't stick around after this season is done.
What the doc needs is a more long term male companion. Like he had in the old days.
or maybe even an alien companion. that'd make things interesting. Travelling in time and space with an alien. Back in earth's past with a alien would be cool.

I'm pretty sure Karen Gillan is signed up for next series as well, I could be wrong on that.
Could someone explain to me why, in all the time he has spent around humans, he is always played as being so awkward and not really knowing anything? I know that he is an alien, and maybe doesn't get some of the human subtleties, but he knows that we don't all go around double kissing, etc.
He's a lot like the second doctor.
he often acted foolish and confused the same way Matt does. it made his enemies underestimate him and seem all the more impressive when he stopped their evil plans and saved the day.

See, I just find it strange and annoying. Because he is essentially the same man, with the same knowledge and experiences, but with a different appearance and slight personality change. I don't think he has acted that way towards the enemies, either.
New person means new personality. doesn't matter if he has the same knowledge it's all being done with new thoughts and see through new eyes.

i know ive noticed that. But i wish amy would die off, i just cannto stand her, and she does try to make her character sexy which i dont like, and the way she acts, and being loud, shes just ugh.
