Felt the need to visit RYL again, I miss all the oldies, RYL was such a great place (I'm sure it still is, but a different sort of great) then. happywondering88, fox, maja, becca, sylvia, rosie, aimee, many emmas, sooo many people, far too many to remember :)

I was looking at the "Compliments" photo thread. It was ickle-duckling who started that and I was wondering if anyone knows what became of her? I think she was going to South Africa or something at one point before she left.

Do you collect things from the old times of RYL? you seem to have everything :P
I used to keep things from early days (like threads I made long posts in - I had idea I would use same posts over and over lol - that's how I ended up saving avatars indirectly and glad I did) . There were more newspaper and radio things (and TV once at least) back in V2. I still have a radio clips from BBC interviewing members and Harley etc. There was also no photo forum in early versions and threads with pics were rare - maybe one every couple months (and in general). Now there are no news stories anymore and there's too much other stuff to notice although I still like to see what other countries look like. RYL has kind of like been visiting UK for 6 years lol.
In that newspaper article Harley was 22. So he must have started ruin with James at what, 20, 21? It's freaky to think that's how old I am now.
I believe Ruin was started by the guy that died ('The Godthief') back in 1999. Harley was the web guy and took over after the death. So Harley already had a long time in by 2004 (and he was a teenybopper).
