I wonder how much the hotel at Alton Towers is.
I just this second had a vision of us all having a meet at Alton Towers and staying there for the night, so we can ride everything over the course of two days.

I would totally be up for that, I love alton towers and haven't been for an age. Of course I would have to have been earning moneys for at least a couple months so I would hope to come along if we ever arrange it

it'd have to be a meet for next year. We've got plenty planned for this one.
another thought pops into my head that we'd have to go at the start or toward the end of the theme park season. otherwise we'd have to fight through horde's of summer crowds.
The only time i went to alton towers there was a 30 minute wait for Oblivion. 1 hour for the new Air. and the Nemesis had broken down.

I think a random but homely kinda b and b would be cool, the hotel would be awesome but I doubt we have the kind of money to give to them for their rip offs :(

the question is would staying at the hotel be cheaper or more expensive that paying entry to the park twice.
because we'd pay to get in the day we arrive, then again the next day after we've spent the night at the B&B.
I don't know for sure but i thought if you stayed at the hotel you wouldn't have to pay entry to get into the park again the next day.

I personally think you could go on the decent rides at Alton Towers in one day, but they do a deal where if you go back the next day, it won't cost you anywhere near as much.
