People are always worse on a bank holiday weekend :( I'm sorry Beckie!

Hey OSC, I've put some washing away and I put 3 things on Vinted and then got stressed and frustrated about sorting the bathroom. This week I've been to 6 tile shops and found 1 tile I liked which looked awful in the space (I brought a sample home). I'm at a point where I'm like, **** it, we'll keep the cracked tiles and half ripped up mouldy lino." I've beens scrolling Pinterest for hours and not found anything either.

How're you?

if you think you know me in real life, no you don't.

Thanks beth. They really are! And it's half term next week D:

That sounds so frustrating beth!

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

That does sound very stressful, Beth. I am awful at making decisions like that. Do you have to get it done asap or can you take a bit of a break from looking and then try again?

I see your coworker stuck up for you, Beckie. At least that's something. You should maybe into a room somewhere and have a rant!

I was supposed to be going for lunch with my friend but I couldn't face the restaurant. We did meet up though and just got some lunch from Aldi. The Aldi in my area is closing tomorrow for 3 months I think, it will be missed and will probably mean that my local Tesco will be extra busy which won't be fun.

Beth, ToppsTiles has an online visualiser where you can upload a photo of the room and see what the tiles would look like in it. I don't know if this is an option for you to use this company?

Hey OSC, I'm sorry your lunch didn't work out, glad you still got to see your friend though!

Topps Tiles is one of the many I've searched through, I've not found a single option I like on their entire website. I've done Topps, Al Murad, Wickes, B&Q, Fired Earth, and a load of local ones and a load of online only ones.

The issue is, most bathroom places have a 10-12 week lead time. While it's being done I'll be driving to my parents after work (at 9pm) to have a shower, as the only thing I'll have left is the toilet. Which means I can't do that in Autumn/Winter when it's freezing cold.

So if I'm not sorted soon, I have to wait until next year. When I've been advised by a few places, the cost has gone up almost £1000 each year recently. But I can't do the bathroom until tiles are sorted.

Thanks, Beth.

That's very complicated. Why are there so many difficult aspects of adulting?! I hope you can work something out.

First world problem maybe, but still stressful nonetheless!

Work L did indeed stick up for me. He's good like that.
We do rant a LOT! On the shop floor if no one is about or in the stock room XD
It's gonna be a fun half term because the bin compactor thing and also the cardboard crusher have both blown. That is more Extras problem than ours, but it definitely affects us in a big way!

I'm glad you still managed to get out lindsay!

I know, its worked out that by the time I go back to work on Tuesday at my main job, of my 11 days of annual leave, I'll have worked 8 of those nights at the pub. (well, 3 are quizzes, 5 are bar shifts)

It is what it is, at least it gets me out of the house and seeing other humans. I could quite easily, once I've seen my friends 1 day each, spend the annual leave alone and not see or speak to anyone for a week which is also not great.

What're you up to today?

Hey Insig, what's up with your glasses?

My vision is blurry when I look at my phone. Some websites such as here are worse than others. Since I use my phone for all my online activity I can't not stay off my phone. I am ok looking at the TV however.

I ordered some glasses from select specs online and they came today. I can see here much better than my boots ones when I have them on. So I am wondering if boots have made a **** up and ordered the wrong prescription. My mum had new glasses at the same time as me and is having the same problem as me.
