Chapter 242
At home Frank had taken Jaidon round to the Kaulitz household were the group decided they would hang out today in the garden considering it was nice weather for a change.
"Wheres Gerard?" asked Hannah looking around the group when she noticed the older Way brother wasn’t there.
"At work" smiled Frank bouncing his so his knee.
The whole groups attention turned to Frank when he said where his fiancée was.
"Work?" asked Tom trying to hide his obvious laughter, causing the rest of the group to giggle except for Bill who decided it was hilarious and burst out laughing.
"Wheres he working?" asked Tom raising an eyebrow.
"Barnes and Nobles with Mikey" said Frank looking at his friends. When Frank metioned the place where Gerard wouldn’t be working it just sent Bill into more giggles and made Tom laugh more making it harder to hid his laughter.
"What’s so funny?" asked Frank looking at the twins who were almost crying.
"Nothing, Nothing.." said Tom wiping his eyes and calming down his laughter, as did his twin but still had a smile on his face.
"Oh" said Frank turning his attention back to his son.
A few minutes past where the group sat in a comfortable silence enjoying the weather.
"So any bets on how long he will last?" Bill said causing him to go in another fit of giggles.
"A week" Tom said hiding his large grin.
"How about we go and see him at work?" said Tom after another minute or two of silence "you know… make some excitement happened, that job has to be ****ing boring"
Frank frowned and picked Jaidon up. "Hey guys I’m heading off" he said standing up.
The group said their goodbyes and Frank headed to the gate at the side of the house and opened it walking out but not before he heard the black haired twin.
"I bet hes going because he has to cook dinner, he’s turned into a proper little housewife" Bill said still trying to control his giggling.
Frank frowned and closed the gate behind him. He decided he hated twins.
Back in the garden where the group where still lounging about on the grass and the twins had recovered from their laughing fits, Hannah looked at the both.
"What’s with you two today?" she asked looking at Bill in particular.
"What do you mean?" he asked raising a peirced eyebrow in confusion.
"Bill don’t be stupid, what was all that about with Frank"
Bill and Tom exchanged looks before looking back to Hannah.
"Dunno what your talking about" said Bill linking his hands with Amy when she sat down next to him.
"Yes you do, why were you saying all that **** about Gerard and his new job, he is trying you know, way more than you"
"Oi I am trying to get a job, it ain’t easy you know, plus he probably only got that job because Mikey works there" said Bill lying back down on the grass.
"Kaulitz, you still haven’t answered my question" said Hannah getting slightly angry now.
"What question" Bill said calmly playing with a piece of grass.
"What did you say all that?" asked Hannah trying to control her temper. "I thought you and Gee were ok now?"
Bill sighed and sat back up "Han, did you really believe that we were ok? He stabbed my brother for **** sake, of course I ain’t gonna forgive him that easily"
"So you’re just gonna let him think your friends?"
"pretty much" said Bill, wrapping his arms around Amys waist as she sat in his lap and leaned back against him, placing his chin on her shoulder "Theres no way I can let it go that easily, he has to suffer some how"
and with that Bill gave a small smile. Hannah shook her head and got up. "You’re an idiot Bill"
"If you were in my shoes you would be doing the same thing" Bill shouted after he as she disappeared through the gate at the side of the house.

Chapter 243
Frank walked home slowly with his son and tried to fight back tears. The words spoken by the twins just a few minutes ago had hurt him worse than anything his father or Gerard had ever done. He couldn’t understand why the twins had been the way they were especially in front of him, and even more after Bill and Gerard had ‘supposedly’ made up. He carried on walking but carried on straight past the house and turned at the end of the road, heading into the park. He took his son out of the pushchair and sat on the bench with him in his lap and looked down at him. The only good thing about the whole situation was that Jaidon was too young to understand what was going on. He’d been through so much in the few months he’d been around and it wasn’t fair on him. That was what the new job and the group being friends again, was all about. It was so the group wasn’t torn apart and so the kids weren’t caught up in the middle only none of that seemed to matter anymore.
He sat there for another ten minutes just going over and over things in his head. The words just playing over and over like a stuck record. He didn’t even know whether to tell Gerard about it, mainly because he was scared of his reaction because he’d more than proved what he’d do if anything tried to harm or come between him and Frank. Frank sighed and looked up when he heard footsteps coming towards him. Hannah sat down on the bench next to him with her daughter in her arms,
“You ok Frankie?”
“No not really. How come you left anyway? I thought you were spending the day over there.”
“I didn’t wanna listen to Bill and Tom saying that **** about you and Gee. I mean, I know Gee’s screwed up in the past but he’s trying which is more than they’re doing.”
“Yeah I know. Thanks.”
Frank leaned over and hugged his friend before getting up and putting Jaidon back in the push-chair.
“Well, I suppose I better go home and cook dinner like ‘a good little house-wife’”
“Oh, you heard that then.”
“Yeah. Look why don’t you come back and wait for Mikey? Gee said Mikey was coming back with him for a little while and I guess you don’t wanna go back there and anyway, I could use some company.”
She smiled at him and they headed off back towards the house. Frank let them in before making coffee and they both sat down in the lounge, both babies fast asleep, unaware of what had been going on around them today.
“You gonna tell Gee what happened?”
“I don’t know. I want to but I’m scared what he’s gonna do.”
“I think you should tell him. He won’t do anything like before. He’s trying really hard to change and I doubt he’ll mess thing up now.”
Frank nodded, deep in thought about exactly what to say when Gerard walked through the door. It wasn’t exactly how he’d planned greeting Gerard from work.
Gerard had just finished up putting the last of the music away before Chris called him over. Gerard groaned inwardly before putting his head down and walking over. He hated this guy and the last thing he wanted was to stand there and have a conversation with him, most likely about how he’d done that day. Gerard stood there in front of him before forcing himself to meet the other man’s eyes,
“Yeah Chris?”
“Listen I was wrong about you. You’ve done really well today.”
“So…so can I have a job then?”
“Yep. I haven’t seen anyone work as hard as you do.”
“Wow thanks.”
Gerard grinned, completely changing his mind about Chris and deciding that he was actually not that bad once you got to know him,
“So I’ll see you same time tomorrow then.”
“Yeah sure thing! Thanks Chris.”
The two men shook hands and Gerard hurried off to find Mikey before the two of them headed home. By the time they’d got there, Gerard had just finished telling his brother what a great guy Chris was which Mikey found amusing considering Gerard had hated Chris’s guts just a few hours ago. Gerard grabbed his keys and let the two of them in. Mikey sat down next to his fiancée, kissing her before wrapping his arms around her,
“I thought you were with Amy and the others today.”
“I was but uh…Frank kinda got upset and needed some company and anyway, I didn’t want to stay after what they were saying…”
She fell silent quickly, knowing Frank needed to say the rest. Frank smiled weakly at her before looking up at Gerard with ears in his eyes,
