there are too many nouns in that sentence, and you said "speak in german" and "speak in english" too many times
technically I didn't, coz I was realising that the person who I was referring to did not speak german, so I had "I think that you speak german" then I go on to say "but you do not speak german" I could have replaced "german" with "it", but then i explained and said "however, I speak English" (not surprising really, considering I am English ) and so I repeated myself in English.
you are right and wrong.. I took the wrong tense for the verb, and veux is the proper one with Je.
However veut is with il/elle/ont/qui...
Je veux
Tu veux
Il/elle/ont/qui veut
Nous voulons
Vous voulez
Ils/elles veulent
I'd forgotten that for the moment I posted.
oh yeahh... *facepalm*
so that's why i always mess up the he/she/it :P

I've just remembered what SH is in French . . . I did a presentation on it in year 13. That wasn't a comfortable 5 minutes for me - hot room, speaking a foreign language, talking about a topic very close to me, teacher staring at me. I did learn a lot of interesting vocab though, forgotten most of it now. . .
