I started when I was 15.

I'm 20 now.

I've self harmed in many different ways and have been hospitalised many times for it.

im almost 17 and i have been for about 2 and a half years but ive not for 3 weeks today and i feel worse than i did when i self harmed... does it even really go away?

22 now, first significant SH at 12, started cutting at 17. Stoped around 21.

I just turned 17 about a month ago. I started to SI when I was 15. I stopped for about 3 months twice, from December [2006] (made a kinda birthday promise to myself to stop for a while) to March then one date in March till last June. Not more than that though.

I'm 21. I first started 'properly' SHing when I was 19, coming up to 2yrs ago, but I've been SHing in various ways all my life. I also started cutting when I was 19 (3days before my 20th), 5months after I started SHing. I was getting urges to cut though for around 8 yrs before I did it.
