I will keep my brain fingers crossed for a positive outcome tomorrow. Have you things to do for the rest of the day to try and keep your mind from worrying as much as is possible?

I haven't heard anything back from university yet and tomorrow it will be a week since I thought I would have heard something, but I may have counted the days wrong. I just used an online calculator to calculate 25 working days from when I submitted the appeal which was 29th December. It just feels like they can keep me waiting but if I keep them waiting it's 'unprofessional'. That's just a rant, sorry. I don't necessarily want to chase it up because I'm scared of the outcome.
I have contacted the Disability Law Service and they are not getting back to me and I've contacted an education law service.

Could it have been 25 working days rather than just 25 days? Might explain why it's taking longer.

I totally understand how organisations etc are often slower at responding to things and they get away with it but if we were late or whatever they would hold it against us. I also understand why you might not want to chase it up. Sorry I don't have any advice but I am thinking about you.

I can understand that. Do you think there is anything you can put in place to support you when you open the email? Like opening it at the time of day when you feel the most ok, or having someone with you, or contacting someone to talk if you need to?

Well no I think Jen was right and I calculated the days wrong. But it has allowed me to speak to a lawyer in the meantime so it's not all bad.

After waiting so long and university missing multiple deadlines citing "complexity" they got back to me saying that although my complaint has been partially upheld they are only going to offer me an appointment with wellbeing. I made a complaint against a member of staff about how she handled my disclosure of abuse and she was consulted and conversations with her informed the outcome of my complaint, despite me saying that she made me feel psychologically unsafe.
So it feels like it whatever I say or do, it doesn't matter.

I'm so sorry you haven't been heard, it's not right. I think sometimes places like unis protect their own. What do they mean by it has been partially upheld? What can wellbeing do for you?
