:[ Indeed, & I am not here to watch it. Pah.
Le brother is to be recording it for me, thankfully, so I don't have to wait until Friday for the repeat - nah, not in on Sunday either!

Bring on this weeks episode, and the next series!

David Tennant better not leave. :[ x

New series got off to a really bad start... However, it started to improve around the 'Daleks in Manhattan' episode.... The latest on (episode 13- Sound of Drums) wasn't as good as the previous one (Where Jack returns.... Erm.... w/e it was called!)

David Tennant is the better Doctor... But C.E's doctor was more visibly suffering from the effects of the time war.

But anyway... Roll on Episode 14- The Last of the Time Lords!!!

Is it me or are they shortening series length nowadays? TBH I'm quite annoyed about how they've turned the iconic Daleks into weak, unscary pathetic enemies. Still, I'm quite excited by yet another finale...

See I still can't really form an opinion about the Sound of Drums, I quite honestly don't know what I thought of it, I think I need to watch it again.

Funny thing was though, you know the song at the end which he sticks on when all those balls thing come through that gap, Voodo child, yea, I was listening to it early (dont ask why I have it on my pc, I just do, and I was listening to it cos I was listening to my music on shuffle) and I was thinking how the song reminded me of the adverts for the sound of drums. Yea...

Yep the stories themselves are shorten then the old ones (which I didn't watch, but know abit about)... But in the new series (3) there have been more 2 parters and the first 3 parter in the modern Dr Who.

I agree with the first part... I was really dissapointed with the series 2 finale and the patheticness of the battle. I hope the next episode will include more action and will create a real sense of the scale of the conflict... but as it's target audience includes little kids I doubt that will happen :(

I really liked the series 2 finale. Though with Doctor Who you dont really expect huge battles, well not really.

T'is a 50 minute episode on Saturday :D

Ee, it's tomorrow! Then we have to wait ages for the next series to start. :(

Well they only do one series per year.... So the 2008 series will start next spring... ish :S

Oh and theres the xmas special to look forward to :S

I do wish there were a few more 'big battles' interspersed throughout. The ones that there are are supremely poor (daleks vs cybermen.... SUCKED!)

Watching doctor who earlier in BBC3 I noticed that he mentioned that he had fixed the tardis permantly to only be able to travel between the year 100 trillion and the last place he landed, which was a couple of days after election day in the present with Martha and stuff.

Do you think this means the TARDIS will never go prior 2007 ever again? Unless whatever the master did with the TARDIS means he can reverse what he did in Utopia with the sonic screwdriver which fixed the TARDIS controls....

It would kill the next series (which has been confirmed) if the Tardis was still locked. For plot's sake, it has to be reversable :)

god I sound like a n00b/emo ..... ignore that.... If the doctor couldnt ever go into the past again it'd be lame and hard writing for the doctor who writers, set themselves a challenege if that be the case!
