I just read this thread from start to finish. I laughed to hard I cried! For a non-smut thread I thik a little creeped in somewhere in the middle pages...
However, back to mittens. I used to have mitten on strings. My grandma made them :) But then may hands grew and I could no longer fit them in the stringed mittens :( And it doesn't really get cold enough here for mittens whether strung or not :( How sad...

Hahahaha I sewed strings to my mittens last week XD I so need a picture!
One of the little boys in the Y1 class I work in has mittens on a string and I almost leapt in the air when I saw them!

I must learn how to knit then.. Would be so much easier if I still had a grandmother that could help me! Oh well, maybe by the time winter comes around I'll have two mittens on a string :) Hopefully the mittens won't have too many holes in them... :/
