I went to see Example in Dublin during the week and it was AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im planning my next gig now .
It became like a sort of prison. Encased in a silver shell, words so full of bleeding need spilled like drops on dry leaves. And all the while laughter prevailed a long way from here. Nowhere land, nowhere time, nowhere space.
first gig:AFI
worst:H.I.M (LIKE THE BAND BUT THE SHOW WAS ****)
bestffspring/blink 182 (cant choose)
last gig:blink 182
next gig: TWIN ATLANTIC on the 10th
^^ Ooh, I saw Twin Atlantic last night in Leeds - they were AMAZING! Hope you enjoy yourself as much as I did
There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: 'This glass is half full'. And then there are those who say: 'This glass is half empty'.
The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: 'What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
Jealous, Auragrace! I've always wanted to see them, but their tickets are always ridiculous expensive.
I'm having a megashow weekend starting the 26th with Buster Blue, then hopping a bus to Seattle to see my friend's band on the 28th, Emilie Autumn on the 29th, and Stolen Babies on the 31st.
I may or may not still have eardrums at the end of it.
First gig: Meat Loaf
Worst gig: Emilie Autumn*
Best gig: Emilie Autumn
Last gig: Within Temptation
upcoming gigs: Kaya
(*=The last show I went to wasn't as good as when I saw her the first two times, and on the third she came on so late I had to leave 1/4 of the way through the song (about 4 songs in)).
Anyone seen Enter Shikari live? I want to but worried what the crowds are like? Coz my friends a lil crazy and I dont wanna do moshpits and stuff but she does.
They played at my work last week. They were good, crowd was fine by all accounts. (it was my day off). The thing about bands like that is that the whole place wont be one big mosh pit, there will always by the people just standing to the sides or further to the back that dont participate in that stuff.

I've seen far too many bands to list, but my most recent gig was Reel Big Fish (for the second time) and they were pretty fabulous :)
@field of paper flowers - have you ever seen them at Leeds? I've seen them 4/5 times now :) And I have their plectrum :)

Buttons - you make me proud.
MeaCulpa - It will never be your fault.
Everyone - Whatever you need to hear.
Yeah, I've seen them twice before. I skipped my senior prom to go see them the first time! Totally worth it. It's been a few years now, I'm about due for some more MSI :)
