Now that is an idea! I would e-mail them again, but I don't want to come across as pushy since the woman would be doing me a favour. If I get so response by Wednesday afternoon I'll phone the office and see if I can talk to someone.
*hugs* Exams are so much pressure. I have my last one tomorrow and I too have sooooo much to know. Sigh.

*hugs* for everyone! Sounds like people are having a rough time at the moment so . . . *hands out brownies and coffee* Brownies are definite brain food and coffee = caffeine which is always helpful!
Exam wasn't awful. Of 6 questions I had to answer 2 but there weren't two on topics I'd revised. o_O Nearly cried when I read the questions.
So I had to bullsh*t my way through both answers. Lame. At least it was a topic I sort of know. Don't think I did very well but at least it wasn't as awful as last Monday.
Wednesday is going to be awful. I haven't started revising yet (am starting after I've drunk some coffee and had a brain break for a bit) and I don't really understand it anyway (thinking & language so stuff like language production and comprehension, bilingualism, problem solving etc). Sigh.

I've got 3 1/2 weeks left in the term, and the group project is also our final project (it's this huge thing) but it's due the week before my finals, there's basically this week, next week... and presentation the week after that. Then I have finals for my other classes the last week and get to drive 1000 miles back home after packing.
I'm doing a mental countdown to when I'm done with my internship... my projects... my finals and can finally get some sleep and relax until the end of September!
Oh and the sunburn looks pretty bad! And everyone feels the need to point it out.... haha
Thank you for all of your help and support. I will no longer be coming to RYL. Semi-explanation will be inside my profile.
they really need to develop suncreams.... i dont think we have factor 70 here but i got sunburn blisters all over my shoulders while using water proof, baby factor 60 suncream.... although i was in south france at the time
amy.. i feel your pain
*offers aloe vera gel*

*puts aloe vera gel all over* thank you simi I ran out late last night in search of some haha. Of course everything closed early on Sunday nights, but I found some eventually!
They need something to completely block it!!! It doesn't matter how high the SPF is, I'll still burn! Neutrogena makes the SPF 70 sunscreen that I used, don't know if they have that brand or not! I get sunburned bad at least once a year!
I hardly got any sleep last night because I couldn't get comfortable with the sunburn

Sunburn sucks. You should try Sudocrem - it's amazing. It smells a bit and is sticky but it's soooooo soothing!
Drampty, yes bullsh*it is better than nothing. Keep remembering things I should have written though.
Really struggling to revise for Wednesday. Can't focus and have completely lost motivation to do anything at all. I'm considering going to sleep soon because I'm so tired but I need to achieve something before I go to sleep otherwise I'll have to completely learn 3 topics tomorrow. I'm in a bad enough situation as it is re: revision for Weds. Don't want to make it worse than it is. Hopefully no one else will do that well in this exam - everyone's been complaining about the timetabling for our course. Within 17 days there have been 5 assessments; 4 of those within 7 days (fri - fri). Does that sound like a lot to anyone else or am I just stressing over nothing?

oh lord what on earth do they think you are a machine???? i hate the way work gets dumped on us in one go really is that hard for them to space it out it bit you wouldthink that it would make marking it easier as well
oh while i remember has anyone else had to rehand in all their yr2 work in like a portfolio...basically all assessments and essays etc.... they didnt even tell us why
shoot for the moon... if you fail you'll land amongst the stars.
It might be for external examiners to look at, or they might be looking for examples to use with current 2nd years of what good and bad work is like. Or maybe they need to review their marking system or something.
My assessments started with a presentation (5th), then exam (11th), exam(15th), exam (18th), exam (20th) then a 7000 word research report write up on 22nd. So I had to basically finish the report before I could start the presentation, then had to wait until that was over before I could start revising. I don't think they understand how stressful all this work is. I mean, it would only have needed the presentation to be before Easter, then the research report to be due on 25th to give us a couple of days more breathing space. Sigh.

well my 48% essay shall be an example of a bad eassy then....
im really lucky this year i only have 3 exams as i chose mainly practicle modules that had 100% coursework so thats all done before easter and my exams are quite spread out my next and last on is on the 28th
but then ive got dissertation workshops on the 1st 2nd and 3rd june then ive got to do a research design for it for the 12th but thats only bout 1000 words .... and then on the 28th june im off to a field for 4weeks on a dig then the week im back ive got overtime at work so im not getting a break till mid august and apparently summer holidays are not for relaxing but for dissertations.... yippy

Sounds fun. I can't wait until Friday. degree will be over. I have 5 weeks free in Canterbury before I move back to my parents' house. Oh joy. Lol!
Revision just isn't happening. I'm so tired and can't concentrate but can't afford to stop. Might just get an early night though and get up even earlier tomorrow then work through till late.
I can't even really feel stress anymore - I've numbed myself to it all so I can handle the exam period, there was no other way I was going to get through this. 4 days to go. Friday is going to feel sooooo good.
