Elena, we would be glad to have you here :) congratulations on your upcoming confirmation :)

Heather and Bella, I'll be praying for you both. Not too sure what's going on with the prayer team yet, but I've got you covered ;)

Heather: see what happens if you think of it the other way around. is it really worth it to /keep/ hurting yourself? Is it worth the scars, the guilt, the secrets, the extra clothing? Is it worth having to explain to your children, if you have them, or your future spouse? is it worth hurting your relationship with God? He loves us, but He's also holy and can't be in the presence of sin. i think that's how i finally motivated myself to stop: God, or self-harm? Stopping is scary. Getting better is scary. it means facing all the pain that we run away from, and it hurts. but it's worth it. i promise.

bella: don't worry yourself too much. you will either get the job, or not get the job, and God knows already what's going to happen. He's in control of your life. "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." matthew 6:28-34

“The good things don’t always soften the bad, but vice-versa, the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.”
“Nobody important? Blimey, that’s amazing. Do you know, in nine hundred years of time and space I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important before.”
“If it’s time to go, remember what you’re leaving. Remember the best. My friends have always been the best of me.”

Where troubles melt like lemon drops
away above the chimney tops
that's where you'll find me

I know there is probably a lesson to learn from all of this, and when I am on the other side of it things will be alot clearer, but right now I am just angry and upset.
I know how you feel, lately things have happened that have made me start doubting my faith. I know God is there, but I wonder what He's doing most of the time. I have no clue as to what He's thinking and I feel like He's just sitting back and letting things happen to and around me just to see what happens. It's frustrating!

SUCIDE TRIGGER

Warning this post is about sucide.

On tuesday I was home alone and I OD'ed myself. I told someone in america, someone on the otherside of the world. Yet they managed to convince me to tell them my adress. They then from the otherside of the world, arange a ambulance to go to my house, they no idea if I was bluffing or not but it can be hard to get a ambo to go to someones house unless they call it themselves or someone at the house calls it in. However I believe through God, they convinced the ambo's to go and check. I was taken to hospital and now I'm talking to you now. This is not the first time God has saved my life, I've been stuck in a rip at sea and would of drowned if I hadnt been rescued and I have attempted before and a mate I wasnt meant to see that day came over and found me. God does amazing things. He will help you, just pray read the bible but most of all Believe that you want him to help you.

God is amazing.

Nat

we're watching a documentary in my sociology class called "Children Underground".

Quote:
"Children Underground" observes the lives of several Romanian street children in Bucharest's Piata Victoriei train station. These children live in the station's tunnels and corridors, in almost indescribable conditions; they sleep in cardboard, and they beg and steal and prostitute themselves for food and money. Almost without exception they use drugs, especially the inhalant Aurolac, a cheap, toxic paint that coats their faces in silver.
during the part we saw today, a 14-year old girl who has been dressing as a boy her whole life in order to avoid being taken advantage of was interviewed. she talked about how she took care of the younger children on the streets, how she ran away from the orphanage because she was beaten and tortured. the part that really got to me was when she talked about how she wished she had a friend, and not just children she took care of. she said she didn't think she would ever have a boyfriend, because that would risk the children in her care, but she still wished she had someone who would care about her. the interviewer then asked, "do you believe in love?" and she said, "no". which isn't surprising considering her life. but then she continued: "i don't believe in love. i believe in god. he's bigger."

just something to think about.

ok...this is really random but i really need prayer...i know i haven't been on here in a long time and i haven't done a good job at supporting anybody else...but i'm just feeling really discouraged...i got saved less than 3 months ago and i changed soooo much during the summer and started to break so many bad habits...but now that i'm back at school i'm just falling right back into everything...i feel like i'm just drowning...and i really really don't want to go back to who i was...i'm so bad at being a christian....even my friend who's like the farthest thing from a christian ever was like "you're being really mean, you're supposed to be a nice person" i felt HORRIBLE....i know that that's not THAT big of a deal or anything but it symbolizes a lot to me....and i just really need prayer..

Love so amazing, so divine
demands my soul, my life, my all. =)
