I'm a Liverpool fan too and he has had counseling, he obviously needs more.

Yeah I know he has and it was obviously working for him, did nothing wrong last season at all.

When he started off at Liverpool he was unremarkable now since Brendan Rogers , he has become outstanding. Last season he was on fire. I think the whole thing has died down now and people will just get over it. i mean we all saw robben throwing himself up in the air yesterday, these days players get away with so much. It's become about money more than anything. i follow Barcelona and always thought that a lot of the team were very humble, like Xavi Hernedez for example. The reason I don't like Nemar is he is always wanting to be in the limrlight yet he doesn't have the talent to back up his need for it. He was useless last season and could barely pick up a pass.

I don't think it has died down sadly. I read a article yesterday about him headbutting a ref and biting 8 other players back in Uruguay. Of course there was no proof of these allegations as the records were 'destroyed'

so every team kinda had a super rocky start into the group stage. there wasn't really an easy game for anyone and right now i don't really think there is that one team that sticks out.

what do you guys think?

pain breeds wolves

Personally I think Argentina will go through. I think the Netherlands will have a chance and then it will be between France and Germany. It has been a kind of a surprising event with a lot of unexpected results. Like also there has been many nil all draws so it shows the level between the team that nobody has stood as you say Wi-nter. I have a feeling argentina might actually win, I don't know it's just a feeling I have.

Awesome! My predictions came true! Feel bad for Neymar alright cos nobody deserves pain like that.

Embarrassing and I basically could not watch it as I hate seeing teams being humiliated. I felt sick at the 24th minute cos I could see the annihilation happening. Nobody deserves that tbh and it's funny as most of the wins have been penalty shoot outs or a meager amount of goals scored.

And to think I used to love barca beating teams like 8-0, now I realise there is no sportsmanship in that. And that would have been only in La Liga.

I am predicting a Germany win for the final, although I was predicting Holland before their last couple of matches, so who knows!

Yeah it looks likely that Germany are the better team going in. i was looking for the time of the final on Sunday and saw the scores and they have scored way more goals and have been stronger and more cohesive. But Messi is totally my idol, I see no wrong in the little guy. Even though one man doesn't make a team I feel that Argentina would do well in winning and it just seems right somehow. The speculation around whether someone can be the best footballer in the world and not perform on the world stage has been long argued and it would finally put the naysayers to rights for him to score a few Sunday. I can't wait and I will be completely lost when it's all over!

I'm hoping for a Germany win!

It's so easy to get lost in constantly having to present
whatever face you believe a person wants to see rather than your own

Well fingers crossed one of us will be happy! haha. have the third place play off on now and think the Netherlands will be the obvious choice.

Blah, kill thread with Germany post :) So who is looking forward to start of footie season? Can't wait to see who Liverpool can find to replace Suarez. I won't be doing my degree anymore so hopefully will be glued to the football. Should be a great Premier League season and it will be a pity that Barca had their two great old timers retire like Xavi and Puyol so make way for the B team incomers! Literally excited. Maybe I can piece together money for Sky Sports channels or find an excuse to have a midday cider in the local.
