there is no right or wrong choice in this situation. you weren't to know if they were going to call in two minutes or two hours. The ball was in their court and they dropped it. You weren't to know if you were next on the list, bottom of the list or your paperwork got lost.

Are you having trouble from the job centre Gabz? :( They are absolutely useless, and I do mean that. The amount of things they have messed me about with, I could make a list, that's not even an exaggeration! I had to wait 5 months to get any housing benefit and they refused to give me four months of it.. -.- My sister had a mental illness affecting her employment, largely due to stress and what do they do, say she doesn't qualify for any support, then decide only a little, thanks a lot guys!
Anyhow. I completely understand how you must be feeling, they are supposed to support decent people who actually would like, and try, to get back to work and earn some money for theirselves and not rely on them and they just throw it all back in your face with incompetence and ignorance! Fools!

Google Images of Glasgow Uni. I have better ones, but I'd need to upload them. The uni was asked if it could be used for filming, but it would require the shutting down of the place for a few months of the year, which wasn't going to happen.

They really are useless, aren't they Tom? I've known people who started a job for a week then decided "nah, can't be arsed with this - back on benefits I go!" and they're welcomed back with open arms. Then I leave because it's seriously damaging my mental health (I spent most days coming home crying and having flash backs) and I get told that's not good enough? ¬_¬
