If they just gave me the answer when I asked them last week, I wouldn't have minded. But to keep messing me around is ridiculous. I have no money because they stopped my payments. They stopped them because they feel that leaving a job because I was being bullied is not a good enough reason. I have appealed against it, even ended up throwing mental health in their face and I hate doing that. That was almost 8 weeks ago.
If they say I can't and give me a reasonable reason, then fine. I'll just see if there's another form of benefits I can get until I finally get a job/go uni.
I think being bullied is definitely a good enough reason to leave a job, it's harassment and does effect your mental health too. It would effect anyone's. Sorry to hear you had to go through that :(
They're taking the mick to leave you in the lurch with no money like that. Really unfair. You need some kind of income. I don't like mentioning my mental health either but it can come in handy in situations like this.

Yeah I completely understand. I had to ask my dad for money when I was in a lot of debt once and it felt horrible.
& precisely, if they're going to stop people's payments they need to, at the same time, give them information on what they can claim instead. Rather than expecting them to live off thin air.

maybe I should get myself on the waiting list for a council flat. but then I'd still be on housing benefits as well as job seeker allowance.
And i've never had a steady or long term job. I think I'd never be off the benefits.

My dad's always saying "I don't see why I should have to pay for you, but I will because I'm such a loving dad" or "if you actually got off your arse and got a job, I wouldn't need to give you this money". So supportive
