I'll take the draw with Arsenal. Been a good day all in all. It's more exciting cos the title race is so close and that deffo makes it entertaining. It's the same in La Liga, Barca won 1-0 today on the Barcelona Derby, they take this game very serious in the city supposedly.

It became like a sort of prison. Encased in a silver shell, words so full of bleeding need spilled like drops on dry leaves. And all the while laughter prevailed a long way from here. Nowhere land, nowhere time, nowhere space.

The Premier League is really close this year. Looks like it could be a good week for Liverpool if they win tomorrow. i'm a big Anyone but United fan, so this season has been great for me

the real club i support is Newcastle but since we don't have a chance at winning the league, i'm hoping either City or Liverpool takes it.

Barca is my Spanish team and La Liga is really close this year. Champions League will be interesting as well.

Liverpool are really playing well it must said. I didn't expect them to improve so much, so quick.

Barca-Atletico will be interesting. i really think Atletico could be the dark horses of the CL.

Does anyone else listen to the Guardian Football Weekly podcast?

Since my team is so far from qualifying for international competition I don't really care too much about the CL or EL at the moment even though I do watch some of the games (especially Dortmund) BUT the problem with Bayern is that they are too good in the BUndesliga. The league has literally NEVER been so boring. And everyone complaisn because we rather look at the teams playing for relegation than look at who will win the league and that's so sad. We used to be one of the most attrative leagues in the world and right now it's as pointless as la primera divison :/ BOO.

I dont really watch any of the premiere league games but Arsenal has got to be my team. so many germans on the team it's incredible.

Planemo, no I have never listened but i watch as many games as I can. I am trying to do a degree so haven't had time but doe to health problems lately been resting so able to catch up. Is it worth while?
Wi-nter I know what you mean when one team keeps winning and it becomes boring. You should try watching the epl cos it is so exciting this year and hasn't been this way in a while. Arsenal haven't had the best season but they are a decent team. they lost Fabregas which was a big blow to them.

I really enjoy it. There's usually no pundits, just journalists and they're humorous as well. it's a great way to catch up with all the weeks action, if you missed anything.

i wish i had time to get into the EPL. i usually just catch the full time scores and thats it. i am secretly rooting for arsenal but i am not invested or anything

i am probaly the happiest person that manchester united and bayern played 1:1 today. i just dont want bayern to get through to the next round.

I didn't have time for ages either cos of the degree but what with being in hospital and being too mental to do anything i fond football very easy to watch and safe cos there are no triggers in it. That's the only reason I wasn't on here and posting. It has been a very eventful month in all both leagues I follow though but I understand there is only so much someone can watch ideally. The CL is major football and it being the quarter finals, very hard to ignore. I think Barca's form is slipping tbh and i want Liverpool to win the league but it seems like still a dream :) Bayern looked poor in the highlights tonight I thought and they were on about Pep being poor with defense but they were just picking holes maybe.

This weekend i am going to do as little as possible but will be looking at the Barca and Real matches tomorrow. And the Liverpool/west ham game sunday. Just got laced with a massive bill for my ancient motor so will be hoping for some decent games to forget about it all.

Disappointed Barca lost, but i think Atletico deserved to go through. Happy Bayern went through too. The last 4 looks really good. As i said Atletico look like a real dark horse, and anyone facing them is gonna have it tough.

^ You have been so right! poor ole Barca having a bad week as it stands and it looks like they are out of the league after today. I didn't watch it I tortured myself with critical writing instead. I think they need new defense they are really struggling at the moment. i would also like to see Athletico win the CL as they have never got this far before and it would be good to see someone new winning. Just had a look at the La Liga fixtures and Barca couls still win if things go according to them winning every game and athletico and real losing two of them. that doesn't seem likely though. Copa Del Ray final on Wed night it would be nice to bring something home this season :) Liverpool playing tomorrow too.

Well that worked out well! Barcelona having a woeful week as it stands. To be fair though they couldn't win forever. Looking forward to the weekend though and Liverpool playing again. Man City took a turn for the worst surprisingly too.

Barca's season has pretty much fallen apart in a week. They're just too weak defensively and get away with it against the big teams. Both CL ties are still wide open. Don't know who I want to see in the final.

I hope Liverpool win on the weekend and go on to win the league. I think they deserve it.

I think nearly everyone right now wants Liverpool to win, it's been such an amazing season for them. I still think Barcelona could win the league or at least I hope :) The two games for the cl weren't great this week I think the Europa ones were supposed to be better but I didn't see them. I think I would like to see athletico win as the others all have won before and Real more times than any other.
