I have a sweepstake bet and win £120 if Russia win. So cheer for them (apart from England of course!).

Well russia were a surprise exit that's for sure. Germany and Spain in the final i would say.

Agreed.

I slept through the England match last night, which is unfortunate because I'm told it was pretty good. I'm looking forward to the semis though, and I'm supporting Germany from here on out.

It was a real surprise to see Italy being on the receiving end of catenaccio football, from england of all teams.

germany - spain would be a good final, i agree. i'm rooting for the germans too. they haven't won anything since 96

can't wit for tomorrow night, am bored so the football is really cheering me up. Still rooting for Spain though I agree maybe someone else should have a chance.
Italy has some really old payers, even still playing from the wc2006. I think they should retire and get some new blood. England did not deserve to win the other night, they had no shots on goal compared to Italy.

Half of the Irish team has been around since World Cup 2002 or even earlier.

And look where that got them. Most of them will be retiring after their farcial journey in the Euros. We complained enough we didn't qualify for the WC but maybe in retrospect we were better off.

watched the el clasico was awesome !! What do people think about the destruction of Man United? As a Liverpool supporter it is kinda funny but to be fair the man has destroyed the club, they must be hanging their heads in shame. I think Man City could be surprise winners they way things are going. It's been an exciting week for European Footie.

FOOTBALL??????????? NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am from germany so i kinda grew up with loving football. i support Hamburg which is one of the worst decisions one could make at the moment. we are currently 16th of the league out of 18 so we are not doing good at all. it's hard, it's hard to see your fav team doing so bad. we have literally never been relegated since the Bundesliga was founded so it is a huge deal here that we don't get relegated. we need to start winning or else things look bad for next season. it's not only that i dont want to play inthe 2nd devision the club also doesnt have the financial means to support the good players if we get relegated :/

anyway, thats why i am looking forward to thew orld cup this summer because at least (USUALLY) with the german nt i can expect some great games. we have so many talented players and if we stay focused througout the tournament we can do well.

Germany are an awesome team and always do well. Are Bayern Munich the league toppers? Cos they seem to be the ones to beat anyway in the Champions League.

I'm hoping Germany or Uruguay win. Couldn't give a toss about England.

I completely forgot about the World Cup being on. Something to look forward to even though Ireland didn't qualify.

UGH I HATE BAYERN SO MUCH. They actually just won the league this Tuesday. IN MARCH!!! the league doesn't end until May. this is the earliest any team has ever won the league in the history of the Bundesliga. ugh that's how good they are and how bad the oother teams are in comparison. i hope they don't win the CL. I wish them all the worst, always (:

Well I support Ireland cos I am Irish. I watch Liverpool and FC Barcelona. I think Bayern are the new barca as they seem to be invincible. It's cos of the coach Pep Guardiola who won Barca all their cups. The man is a genius. Claim to fame I stood next to him in the Nou Camp.
On another note how awesome is Liverpool's form? Really gives the club a boost after a bad run of seasons.

i'm a Chelsea fan, cant beat Frankie Lampard! I agree Bayern are amazing, going to dominate for a few years i think unless Chelsea become the team i think they can be but im biased. Yer Liverpool look great I envy you having suarez and sturridge.Liverpool vs Chelsea on 27th April is going to be a close one. My prediction Chelsea 4 Liverpool 0. I wish haha
