enjoyed it muchly!
and i really only find the assistants annoying when you get scaught up in it all n think its all real and you want to be the one flying round with DT by your side ^_^;;
I thought it was quite good...... I didn't originally like the look of the Adipose in the trailers but I thought the plot was quite good in the end... much better than the 'aliens want to conquer tht earth to kill everyone because they can' story lines
i thought she was a bit better than i anticipated, but she still needs to gro on me. I hope she doesnt turn into one of thoese people that fall in love with him, because it annoys the hell outa me tbh.

Yeah, she'll need to grow on me too... but she probably will.
Nah, I'm pretty sure she won't. Both Tate and Tennant say she won't, and it's been said from other angles too. Apparently though, she finds other people to drool over - for want of a better phrase.
That was a great episode, I thought. Catherine Tate definitely didn't disappoint. Donna is pretty cool, I really like her. The mime scene at the window was hilarious, Tate's face when she realised they were being watched, haha xD She's also a really good serious actress, which is a side we haven't seen of her before.
I really loved the episode, it wasn't obviously scary and it like.. questions your morals in a way. Was Ms Foster good or evil? She didn't want to kill everyone, she just wanted to save another species. The Adiposian family are the ones who hired her as well. They're pretty evil just letting her fall like that though.
Donna and The Doctor arenot going to get it on, they made that quite clear in the episode AND so have a lot of other people in interviews and such.
I still don't know how I feel about Rose coming back. The idea annoys me, a lot. But becuase I wasn't expecting to see her in that episode I was all "OMG IT'S ROOOOOOSE!"
Also, did anyone notice in the big trailer that played in the cinemas before it started there was a massive bee? Well when Donna and The Doctor were on the roof and Donna was just rambling about how she tried to find him, and all the places and things she'd gone to investigate she mentioned that people say bees are disappearing? I reckon that's linked. Because The Doctor was all "Bees disappearing? Oh right" so they sort of highlighted that a bit becuase it was the only thing he responded to when she was talking.
Yus. This series looks to be pretty damn good methinks :)
Yeah, I linked the bee comment to the trailer with the big bee thing too. We'll have to wait and see if, and how, that is all connected, but yep... it may well be.
I do think this series is going to play itself out quite well, and in a refreshingly different sense than the last 3.
I am not perfect and I don't claim to be. And if that's what you wanted, well I am so sorry... So mighty, so hegemonic, so hating, so desecrating, so there, so nowhere, so hurting, we fall between indifference, rejection...

Ok, I havent seen this episode as many times as I'd like (only twice, though one time with the commentary) Yet I thought it was good. I enjoyed Catherine tate being there, it was like a breath of fresh air.
It aggrivated me when thy kept missing each other for the first 10 minutes, but I think that was the point. Though when they finally met in the mime seen, it was hilarious. Though I didnt understand of what Donna was saying, was that just me? I also thought it was kinda sad when the Doctor was explaing the adipose capsule in the Tardis and he realised he was talking to himself, it emphasised(sp?) the point that he needs someone to share his travels with.
The Adipose themselves were sooooo cute, I want one. Though for once it did pose a moral dilema because Miss Foster was doing bad thing ultimately for good intetentions, though it was only bad when it went wrong. otherwise it was win win all round, people lost the fat and you got the cute little adipose.
I also enjoyed it when Donna took her many bags out of the car, and of course the I want to/a mate part.
The Rose part shocked me because I didnt think she would have appeared so early on, it acutally made me scream with glee, and thats something for me.
I am so glad Doctor Who is back and it looks set to be an amazing series.
Never forget what you are for the rest of the world will not.
Wear it like armor and it can never be used to hurt you
I liked saturdays episode but those little fat monsters were just annoying. I think the first episode tends to be the weakest. I'm looking forward to the sontarons because i remember them from the first time around.
I love Alcohol Induced Altruism(Laura) I still say a church steeple with a lightning rod on top shows a lack of confidence - Doug McLeod Those who believe in absurdities will commit atrocities - Voltaire
I really enjoyed it, I thought the Adipose were so cute!
My DW friends at the Beeb tell me that Rose is looking for the doctor because something has gone awry in the parallel world that she's on and needs his help. In doing this she meets up with Martha etc and they all come together for the final episodes.
Yey!
