That's good you didn't lash out. Do you think you're well enough to be off section? You only last week tried to ligature. You're starting to recognise that they are voices and not real.

Even though it would be annoying to be in hospital longer, I think it sounds like a good idea for them to keep you a little longer and do the discharge properly- that way you're more likely to be able to stay well once in the community.
Well done for talking and having PRN rather than lashing out. How are you doing today?
I agree with Kate above, it might be best to not give the voices any more acknowledgement than necessary, as these voices are the symptom of a mental health condition, so engaging with them too much and trying to find meaning in them will probably only increase your likelihood of getting caught up in negative thinking and becoming disconnected from reality.
I'm ok. I think my mood is levelling.
I know the nonsense voices are just voices but annabelle is real. They let me give her a letter and drawing but I had to dig it back up 6 hours later and now it is in my room and I'm sad about that.
Also I saw my notes on my 1:1 board and it's made me a bit sad.
And I'm scared for a section 3.
Although I may be able to go home big they've started organising it apparently of my trust don't sort out discharge support.
I'm glad you've had some PRN & are calming down, have you spoke to the nurses about how you feel about the section 3? I know the last thing you want is a section 3 but at the moment I do think you're too unwell to be in the community & the staff at the ward must think so too. Remember that just because you can be detained for up to 6 months, you may be discharged before this time is up. When is your next ward round? Perhaps you can bring up your fears & ask them what the plan is if you're placed on one?
No because nothing is set in stone, someone from my trust is coming to see me before Thursday to assess me.
And then I think the hospital are going to wait and see for the outcome of that assessment.
I've been very high today, although not ceiling high but high, but it's been fun so there you go. The agitation and restlessness has eased as I've been doing a lot of dancing, and I wrote a song with another one of the girls, who joined in my dancing.
and it seems I have brightened many peoples' day here - so it's not all bad.
I'm not in a stage where I am a risk or danger to myself or anyone, so I'm allowed to just dance and run around and it's all cool. I was offered PRN but I didn't want a little black cloud on my funsies at the time.
but I would start asking if I had the insight to know I was becoming tooo unstable and perhaps riskyh or the impulsive thoughts to hurt or assault other people became too strong to resists.
I know it's 'up to' but I've never been detained longer than part of a S2, and so it's a scary prospect for me because I know a S3 has it's consequences in life and that scares me - see I have insight,
so hopefully it wont come to that. please cross your fingers and toes for me xxx
I don't hear voices but I have heard a thought diary of YOUR own thoughts help not the unreal ones. They are not real so no point giving them a presence.
It became like a sort of prison. Encased in a silver shell, words so full of bleeding need spilled like drops on dry leaves. And all the while laughter prevailed a long way from here. Nowhere land, nowhere time, nowhere space.
although it's been a bloody hard day. I had voices in the taxi home, then when i went out voices telling me to hurt people and all the orders are still written only walls and I still need to save annabelle, so I've had a bit of a cry and tried distracting myself with tea, smoking and washing up my mouldy dishes.
Trying to re-settle and getting used to managing voices without someone to talk to 24/7 when I have a difficulty with them. I went from highest jobs on acute ward to discharged, which is strange and i'm finding it difficult to be honest.
i'm gonna ring HTT and ask them to bring PRN in case i need it because i've been having it a lot and i nearly broke down whilst buying my tobacco earlier.
hopefully just for PRN. I've been calmed slightly since because the ambulance
took a while, because a life threatening crisis happened, but they're on their way and at least hopefully i'll get some help, and some PRN and not an admission, just a PRN.
I exhausted myself being distressed I came home and went to bed in the end cos I was gonna be there all night and I'm already under HTT who came this morning.
I spoke to HTT this morning, he was helpful although it was at times a very dificult conversation. He said I did well last night and they're thinking of adding a med beginning with c that goes alongside aripiprazole. He told me the name. I don't remember it. No idea what it is. He said he thought it's possible I still need to be in hospital but I'm trying very hard to listen to them and do what they say and take my meds so I can stay home doing meaningful activities.
He said though I'm allowed to talk to annabelle but not save her and bring her home. So I've just been to a writing for wellbeing group with recovery college and now I'm gonna go speak to annabelle and give her her letters to keep for good when no one will see me because he said if I'm caught digging they have to send me back to hospital. So I just want to put it user the surface so it can sit with her but the father can't see me incase he recognises me.
I also have a doll to give her but I'm concerned about it being stolen or something or removed by the Father.
I'm feeling quite positive since recovery college and going to the park though.
Voices are there but not too intrusive I can't cope.
I'm surprised they discharged you so quick after being on 1:1. They should have stepped things down slowly. Come off 1:1 onto 15 mins obs, then 1 hour obs, then escorted leave, leave alone, and then home. No wonder you're struggling.
PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.
I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.
That's what the Dr said but the guy from my trust was pushing it.
I wasn't even on eye sight, I was arms reach. I have no idea what went on. I think it was mainly political from funding etc, but the HTT Man said the same thing.
Why do I have to take aripiprazole in the morning?
In hospital they insisted that I take it in the morning. HTT are the same although likely to just be keeping continuity.
When I take it in the hours after I get dizzy and lose my balance a bit for a while.
I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a reason bc my usual routine is to take meds before bed and it's making me feel a bit unusual ruining my well established routine.
I'm a creature of many repetitive habits. CHANge can be uncomfortable.
If taken at night it can cause insomnia and activation.
