I'm split. I finished it today but had sworn I'd never read the second one because I was getting bored of every second page being the details of a shag but they leave it on a cliff hanger at the end of the first book which is just annoying and makes me want to read the 2nd one! Gah! I'm so conflicted!
The second I heard it originated as twilight fan fiction there was no way I'd read it. I wasted hours of my life on the twilight books, never again! Not to mention, it sounded kind of misogynist, and if it really is, I'd definitely not like it anyway. And not even my genre, so yeah, tired of hearing about it but I doubt it'll die down anytime soon! Also, the fact that they are talking of a movie is a bit scary lol
Stereotypes are the epitome of human laziness.

When we lose twenty pounds... we may be losing the twenty best pounds we have! We may be losing the pounds that contain our genius, our humanity, our love and honesty. ~Woody Allen

LOL that is hilarious and I would be horrified as well!
While I have not read the book.. I know several people who have.. One that I actually didn't want to know about. While in math class one day, my friend and I asked to use our teachers iPad. She didn't mind and let us play on it for a while. Later, my friend was snooping.. I kept telling her that she wasn't going to find anything being that the school owns it and that it wasn't my teacher's personal iPad. She pulled up her Kindle app and there was this book.. Open to a very 'smutty' scene. I was appalled and, of course, my teacher had to walk behind us at that very minute and she blushed so hard.. It was kind of funny.. She was worried that we had read something that would scar us for life... I was more scarred by that fact that she was reading erotic fiction during class...!
I'm through accepting limits,
'Cause someone says they're so.
My mum wants to read it now...... She has heard about it. I told her it is a pile of smut. It is good smut. But smut nonetheless.
:D
You start life with a clean slate. Then you begin to make your mark. You face decisions, make choices. You keep moving forward. But sooner or later there comes a time where you look back over where you have been and wonder who you really are.
I'm ashamed to say that I actually bought these books for my own mother. She asked me for them for her birthday and I bought them not realising what they were :|
Sorry, what century are we stuck in? Why did she write a porn book? You can get it for free on the internets D:
Also, I am rebelling by reading books about triffids and epic drug trips instead *nodnodnod*
You can't lose hope when it's hopeless.
You gotta hope more,
then put your fingers in your ears and go,
"Blah blah blah blah!"
