But those who might otherwise have to put up with a lonely and shitty Christmas should at least have a share of an RYL Christmas. Tony, you already do far too much in subsidising by the amount you have. £2 is not much to ask, and that is shown proof in the number of people willingly buying more than one ticket in order to help put some money towards it. I know I would certainly be willing to put more into the pot if it was needed, so don't be afraid to ask. Escpecially if it helps those who are alone, or down at Christmas or who can't afford the tickets themselves have a little something over the festive season.

The other night I was lying in bed thinking about how lovely this idea is, and how it would be cool if I could help you & Harley et al out with things like packing up all the items. Obviously I can't... but then I realised that by buying extra tickets I COULD help, and that made me happy :)

I just don't want you to feel guilty if you can't cover everyone, because you're too kind and generous a person to feel that way! We who can afford it can hopefully pitch in a little extra to help out those who can't.

Genuine question, how are you going to know if someone really can't afford it or not?
Well, The One Who, I obviously can't know everyone's detailed financial circumstances - nor is it my business. But all I've said, and I repeat it now, is that if anyone who can't afford to take part, but wants to, then PM me and I'll fix it ...
