Ooo - yeah I need to sort that out. Originally it was called paid subscriptions, but I renamed all (well most) references to it to swap it to our uses.
Thanks

Why are the "newest members" different on the Forum and the home page?

This page was generated in 0.8509 seconds (26.54% PHP - 73.46% MySQL) with 16 queries
Does that mean there were 16 errors, or that is why it took longer as it had to deal with 16 things?

You know the number of viewings? Does that only cound the number of viewings by different members? Or just take a while to update?

Yeah setting it to update instantly takes a lot of server resources and until we are confident it isn't going to put too much load on we have to leave it updating every however long it is

Nah, queries aren't errors. A query is (very basically) how you ask a database for info. More queries could easily translate to a slower page load time - so yeah, you're right when you suggest "it took longer as it had to deal with 16 things".

I have changed the wording on that stats thing to make more sense :)
The forum and main site actually use two slightly different methods to calculate the newest member, it would seem. The main site is looking at the member with the most recent join date, which would make sense. The forum is looking at the most recent person to register, which isnt quite the same thing.
When I update someones join date from v2, it makes them a lot older than they are really in terms of the registration date. So there is a difference and it will settle down once I stop mucking with dates and let is do it's own thing :)

Are you on firefox? If so, use IE or something and you should get a red x thingy and then you can change it.
I had the same thing happen to me on firefox with penguin. *nods*

I'm pretty sure that child forums is just another name for sub forums, if I'm right, maybe Harley can change the wording so it makes more sense.

Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.
