everyone meditates at least once a day.
when we're in our beds at night as we're at that state where we haven't yet fallen asleep but we're not awake any more, thats meditation.
our thoughts drift and change and shift slowly and naturally like a river flow.
at that time our minds are open and we can conceive of thoughts we never thought possible before.
the trick is to hold yourself there and not fall asleep.

Hmm, I'll look out for that tonight haha. I've been having trouble sleeping lately though due to the aforementioned mind buzzing. My thoughts just won't bugger off and let me get some rest
Life is about love, last minutes and lost evenings,
About fire in our bellies and furtive little feelings,
And the aching amplitudes that set our needles all a-flickering,
And help us with remembering that the only thing that's left to do is live.
I'm looking forward to starting to practice.
Didn't know that as you fall asleep you're in a state of meditation, that's interesting.
I've read that it's meant to help people with creativity and stress and stuff.
Relaxation is another main reason I want to give it a try.
Stop thinking about what I want, what he wants, what your parents want. What do you want?
I find that the less you think about the object that is your mast, the closer you become to it, it's difficult to put down in words haha.

it does help with creativity. Some of the best ideas I've had come to be when I'm in that state.
then when they've occurred to me my mind kicks into gear and I wake up and have to note it down before I can get to sleep again.
never think "I'll just remember it in the morning" because you won't

Does anybody write their dreams down? It can be interesting as a only few minutes after you really can't recall it, as if you have just swam up from the depths of a strange ocean and not merely been asleep in your bed, t'is strange!

I'm always convinced that the dream I was in was actual real life when I wake up and feel confused and interrupted at waking up, lol.
Have never written them down. Does sound like an interesting idea.

I used to. But fell out of the habit. Had some weird dreams though.
a dream diary is a good thing. apparently it helps improve your memory.
best thing to do is write as soon as you wake up, when the dream is fresh in your mind. ironically your handwriting is at its worst at that time. so you'll struggle at first. once you get into the habit, it'll improve.
I think I'll try and get back into it.

It is an interesting idea to see where you went in the night
My handwriting is often unreadable at that moment I wake up and usually drift off back to sleep haha. It's like scrawls of random words that i'm supposed to decipher later.
