It's such a relief when you're nearly finished, hope the end goes well.

I had a group meeting to get his project thing we had to do sorted. Because of the weird way it's marked we had to assign what percentage of the marks everyone deserved, me and one girl are getting 21.5% each and the other 3 are getting 19% each, so I'm quite pleased that it was decided that we had done the lions share of the work! I was dreading working out who got what as I'm so unassertive.

Glad you got a good percentage of the marks.

Really dreading presentation on Tuesday. My heart starts racing and my mouth goes dry every time I think about it. By Tuesday I'm going to be a wreck! I'm last in the day so hopefully everyone else will mess up somewhere so I won't feel so bad if I do. If everyone else is really good though . . . *panics*

Am still due a full pre-exam breakdown. . . Hope it comes sooner rather than later, get it out of the way.

Ok, I've just looked at my "take home test" the questions are horrible. The first one wouldn't be so much of an issue if I didn't have to used a damned empirical example. Hello, you ask me a conceptually difficult question and expect me to answer it in 1500 words AND put an empirical example in? Yeah, like that is going to work. I LIKE BEING ABSTRACT.

The second section doesn't look so bad, there's a nice easy one in there which I'm sure I can do...
Yeah.

Oh, and I realise I have **** loads of material to cover for my exams, sure I get good essay marks, but the point is I blag the essays and as such, only know one topic from each of my modules.

Gah.

I did tell you that the question was horrible. Right now I'm 'revising' for my ideologies exam, but I just can't get motivated.

Ah yes, ideologies...

Well, I've just read the feedback from my presentation on feminism, so I'll probably just answer something on feminism for the exam in order to cover one question. I'm also going to revise liberalism and Marxism what with it being guaranteed that liberalism will come up, and Marxism has a lot to say about liberalism.

Only thing is, I can't remember the non-classical liberal positions, asides from the debate between negative and positive liberties, and something about T.H Green, but I don't know what T.H Green wrote.

This is bad, because I also have a module on "The foundations of modern political and social thought" which actually covers the same topics as ideologies, so really, if I revise for one, I revise for both.

Yeah... Uni is fun

EDIT: I swear some very wrong sounds are coming ot of my housemate's bedroom, this has very little to do with the above beyond it pissing me off when I should be working.

EDIT 2: yep, I'm putting some loud music on.

You can do it Linda! Take a deep breath, make sure you know exactly what needs doing and break it into achievable goals. You will be fine.

I'm so over school right now.

Thank you for all of your help and support. I will no longer be coming to RYL. Semi-explanation will be inside my profile.

*plops down*

Have finally finished writing my presentation. Now I just need to sort out cue cards with enough information that I don't forget things, but not so much that I'm just reading off the cards. Then I need to practice and practice and practice. Then I need to find some confidence from somewhere - Dutch courage maybe?

My research report is basically finished too. Well, I'm at 5,600 out of 6-7000 so I can leave the rest to do in the 2 days between my last exam and the deadline. It's mainly editing that's left. And I need to write an abstract. And I don't know how to write an abstract. :S

I've just found a paper that says it was published in september 2009, what on earth is going on?!

Maybe I'm finally totally losing my mind over this work.

It might be a typo. Report it as you found it and if anyone questions it, point them in the direction of where you got it from. If it's useful you might as well use it and explain that the date isn't your mistake.

^^ Either way, it's better than being an optimist and end up kidding yourself.

i think you are a pessimist more than a realist. only because you can do it and i think when you do you'll probably end up surprising yourself.

tomorrow is my deadline day, last day of uni, etc etc.
rewriting essays atm. it's so long & i feel really lethargic.

Presentation in . . . 22 hours and 20 minutes. Is now a good time to start panicking? Keep reading through it but end up saying 'like' and dropping my t's. Agh!!!!!!!

I'm sure something's going to go wrong. I just hope everyone before me messes up. Oh, and it turns out there are going to be 14 other people in the room. An improvement on the 100 I thought there would be at the start of the year, but worse than the 5 I thought it would be yesterday!

I'm the last one in the day which means, as well as stressing about the presentation, I need to find somewhere to eat something. Which means I need to find money to buy something, which I don't have. I just hope there's a couple of pound on my student card so I can get a sandwich or something. Might have to borrow some money from my boyfriend.

Sigh. So much to think about for tomorrow.

Good luck with the presentation! Try not to be too negative, you can do it *nods*. Really hope it goes well.
