Does anyone else watch the Doctor Who Fanvids on YouTube by Carrol13? The Doctor Who: 11th, Regeneration FanSeries? They aren't too bad in a cheesy kind of way, like watching a science fiction movie from the 50's.

Distastful? I can certainly see the obvious links. But mostly I found it funny. Especially when I had to explain to my dad why the Daleks were speaking German.
We've never heard the Daleks speaking a different language because in scifi land all people speak English, so it was original.

I don't think it was distasteful, I think it was so show they speak the language of the country, and the fact it's German with possible Nazi connotations was maybe to reinforce just how evil they are :P

Not entirely. Even on Confidential one of the writers referred to them as Gestapo Daleks.
