tbh i thought the plot was a bit loose in places. very very good though, just it was set up to be bare epic and a lot of the ends were tied up by some pretty vague explanations.
but i can't say how happy it made me that the doctor and rose are finally together and can grow old together. i had a good cry about that. and i'm a guy.

As my post will probably be buried, does anyone know how long the 4 special episodes will be next year (in terms of run time).... will they be singular episodes (45 minutes), extra long episodesl iek this one (65 minutes) or super-episodes (65+ minutes)???

I'm taking a guess one will be a christmas episode, so that'll be an hour or so long.
I think one will be either comic relief or children in need, whichever charity will be run next year, and that's only something like ten or twenty minutes.
So it's possible they'll all be different lengths.

It definitely seems that way. Don't get me wrong, I like them both, but I don't want them in Torchwood.
I wouldn't mind seeing them just for a season. but I agree that they probably shouldn't be a permanent feature.

Donna!!! NOOOOOOOO!! I actually like'd donna. I'm think Mickey and martha will be in torchwood now too. The bit about 15 minutes from the end i really wanted it to end then, when they were all in the tardis.
Wonder who the next assistant will be? There has to be another one.
