^Metro bored the hell out of me, I couldn't finish it.
I know the situation - and you probably wanted to like it lol. From what I understand the developers who made the game were low on funds and rich with obstacles. They probably made an amazing game all things considered. I just cant play linear games anymore where I am locked in to a progression and a lot of the game consists of things jumping out and going "boo!".
Recently I have been playing Divinity 2 (my brother got it for me on steam as a birthday present). So far I like it but it does have it's issues.

Been playing through thief on PS4, defo not the greatest game in the world and it has tried to copy dishonoured and failed miserable but it's killed some time anyway.
Infamous second son, I'm only a couple of missions in but so far so good, gameplay is awesome graphicsare awesome though the new main character is a bit annoying, not as bad as people have been making out right enough but he aint cole.

I started to play some DLC while at level 32. All the enemies were really hard to take out. I completed a couple of quests and then backed of until I get to level 40 or something. From what I've seen so far I like the DLC. I had one amphibious craft in some kind of prehistoric bay where I had to fight these tribal types and large dinosaur type things that were just relentless lol. I liked it all so far. Plus I bought them all at 75% off. I find it hard to get off or Borderlands
Tiamant or someone? I'm still very early in the game. The walkthroughs aren't really any help.
Rings a vague bell. Is it the boss you have to use the fire bomb things to kill? If I remember correctly that was all about timing, but mostly luck!

Ah, you may have come across the same thing I did. I experienced that with Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, where I was a relatively high-level character but even the minions weren't taking any damage at all because of their much, much higher level. I think there is a bug with it.

That was it - "Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt". It was like trying to kill rocks lol. Luckily I had picked up some 20,000+ damage rated rocket launcher along the way. Bewteen that and the turret I was able to finish one of the quests. Other weapons were useless. Now I have 17 keys for the goody chest so I'm getting some better things. I recently stumbled into "Captain Scarlet and Her Pirate's Booty" and that dlc was was much more manageable.
