Well honey lots of times when kids aren't nurtured and they're left on their own it stunts their emotional growth. Abuse stunts it very badly too. Along with that, hurt kids often aren't taught how to deal with emotions. And when you reflect on abuse memories your brain still processes it at the developmental level you were at the time it occurred. Those are the basic reasons, but I can go into more detail if you want. Would you like some cuddles? You're not bugging me by the way, it's fine. :) And sorry I sort of lost track of your name(s).
