"In a Wonderland they lie,
Dreaming as the days go by,
Dreaming as the summers die:
Ever drifting down the stream --
Lingering in the golden gleam --
Life, what is it but a dream?"
Taken from Alice Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll
re-reading Twilight to prepare for Breaking Dawn. *twitches in excitement*

I just finished The Ridiculous Race and The Watchmen....so nowww I cant decide if I want to read The Prestige, The Anansi Boys, or the Twilight saga again.

“Nobody important? Blimey, that’s amazing. Do you know, in nine hundred years of time and space I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important before.”
“If it’s time to go, remember what you’re leaving. Remember the best. My friends have always been the best of me.”

I'm currently reading "The Great Gatsby". And just finished "A Farewell to Arms". Curs-ed summer reading. *grumble*
I may only seem to be a drunken,
vice-ridden gnome whose friends are just pimps and girls from the brothels.
But I know about art and love,
if only because I long for it with every fiber of my being.

I just read a book called Not Without My Sister.
Its about these three girls who were born into a cult and they're constantly struggling with the cult life and are eventually trying to escape from the grasp of this cult..
Its actually a true story and its really sad.
I read "the da vinci code" a week ago, and just read "a thousand splendid suns" by Khaled Hossain. I LOVE IT!
I adore that book totally and completely! Khaled Hossain is a genious!! Have you read the kite runner? Its fab too, though i think a thousand splendid suns is better!
Just finished The Songlines by Bruce Chatwin! The travel writing bit was really good, really intresting, its about the aboriginal songlines in Aus, I wish I had read it when I was there! Anyway the downside was these random chunks of quotes from previous travel experiences that he would randomly plonk in the middle of chapters which went on forever! In the end I just skipped those bits...was still worth reading though!

I almost bought that book but instead bought 'Dry' by Augusten Burroughs, which is kind of like the guy's life after the end of 'Running With Scissors' when he's struggling with alcoholism and stuff.
I've just finished Poppy Shakespeare by I can't remember! But if anyone else has read it, could they explain to me what happened in the end? I got REALLY confused!! Overall it was an okay book,, I only got it after watching it on TV. Nothing special though.
But if i still believe you love me, maybe i'll survive.
So i tell myself you're coming home, like you've done a million times.
I started reading "Veronica decides to die" yesterday.
I've been meaning to read that for a while - is it any good?
Yesterday I read 'Life Support'. I can't remember who it's by, and I can't be bothered finding out. But it was surprisingly good - I actually couldn't put it down!
I think I might read 'My Cousin Rachel' by Daphne du Maurier next, since I've had it for ages and haven't started it.
Ive just finished reading Cathy glass - damaged... its a really good insight into foster carers and the struggles etc , not good for anyone triggered around the subject of abuse though.
Ive just started reading Cathy glass-hidden , similar thing as above really , shes a really good author and its true storys
first book ive cried at for a long time
So do whatever it takes
‘Cause you can’t rewind a moment in this life
Let nothin’ stand in your way
Cause the hands of time are never on your side
