the battle inside the ministry was major disappointing. but the sellouts, i mean makers, had to keep their 12 rating. The events described in the book were too weird and frightening for screen. they would have been bumped up to an 18.

The only way to make a movie series out of a book series is either the LOTR way: none stop back to back.
or the Harry Potter way; getting back together every year and filming the new one almost as soon as the last one has been finished.
not the chronicals of narnia way: make the film, see how it sells at the cinema and then on DVD and then get everyone together again (almost two years later) to make another. Keep up that until they no longer making money.

I just hope they make The Battle of Hogwarts well.
& The scenes in the Lestrange's vault in Gringotts, cause they were pretty much my two favourite chapters in the book, I think.

I totally agree, although they couldn't done it the Lord of the Rings way; the Narnia books didn't happen straight after the other.

Also, Caspian was supposed to be, like, 12? I mean, the guy who played him was a babe (XD) and all, but...no.

Well they have reasons for that:
We know Lion the witch and the wardrobe was the first book. but now there's a scramble to make the books that contain those same characters before the actors get too old for the part.
the magicians nephew doesn't contain any of the cast from LW&W and since horse and his boy contains a young caspian they can just hire a kid that looks like him.
They just have to make the films before the actors get too old for their rolls.
i'm sure it'll all be sorted out if/when all the films are made. they'll be put in the right order in a box set or something.

If they mess up Dawn Treader, I will not be happy; it was my favourite book in the series.
I've read them all except The Last Battle. Just couldn't get into it.
I think I have to read them all over again though. it's been ages since I looked at them.
