At my uni at least, you can only stay in halls for your first year...

Yeah, generally thats what happens, though my Uni has halls only for those who want to stay in halls through their second year etc. or postgraduates.

i really don't want to defer my final year, i keep reminding myself i'll be finished in another 6 months.
then i also remind myself the likelihood of me actually getting a degree... which is slim to none.

If I dont defer I'll only fail this year anyway, and all be a complete wreck of a human being. I mean I havn't handed in any work so I'm rather ****ed heh.

Haha, I know what you mean, I keep wondering when my Uni's going to realise that I'm not going to magic three essays, a portfolio, a practical report and 25 EPR points to them by the end of the week.

Hopefully they won't throw me out until I get my second part of my loan (Y)
